My point is that right now you have the chance to effect that morbid legacy by adding or not adding pictures.

I see your point.

Do what you want, but imho, thanks for making the violent images people are exposed to go up by one.

I feel the reason people seem to not care comes from the 24/7 coverage dulling people senses to the act of violence itself. So I'm not completely sure adding to that fire will really help much at all.

It's a shame the gruesome details don't seem to stand on their own.

You're blaming the wrong people kami.

If you want to wage a war and make gross amounts of money, you need a steady stream of poor victims to do your bidding.

What's the easiest way to do that?

Why, you crash an economy and make military service the only option to survive.

Can't find a job because corporate America has outsourced everything but their income to some third world country where it's much easier to exploit people?

I'm speaking about the 24/7 coverage of how fucked up the world is, that due in part means that people care less about when the segment of war coverage comes up in the 24hrs period. I concur with the sentiment about 'what' is covered.

i certainly do,&i can assure you that coverage of civilian casualties is next to nil..this is mainly due to not wanting to alienate their audience(be it the limousine liberals that tend to watch CNN or the hawks that feast on a steady diet of Fox)or, more importantly, their sponsors
