Energy drink with alchohol ban
What do you think of this? I think it should be banned personaly. But heres the real question, why go after energy drinks with alchohol in them. These mother fucking drinks hold so much caffine they get you wired. Its like every kid in a highschool is drinking these fucking things. Point is, money can be made. Tax the shit and make it more expesive. Energy drinks with just caffine should be taxed like ciggaretes, less users more money in our pockets.
Heres the links: Energy Drinks and Vodka Turns out alcoholic energy drinks are unsafe, who knew? : Trinitonian PEACE |

Is that not the reaction of a social cripple/retard, inability to function and resorting to basic impulse, over the wellbeing of the individual...

Do you tell everyone with a differing opinion to go away?
That makes it seem more like you are here to shill an agenda rather than interact socially...

True, but on a mass scale of distrubition (especially to kids) energy drinks have a high potency for caffine and sugar. It even says on the label not to drink with alchohol. No I personal do not think that we should ban everything. But hey, shouldnt we treat every drug differently (we usualy dont).

I know right.
My problem with the ban isn't the ban itself (I don't like the drinks so whatever), it's that I have a problem with altruism. I don't like the man stepping in and telling me what I can and cannot put into my body, because I'm too ignorant to know what's good and bad for me.

And if you're worried about caffeine and sugar than we'll have to ban 50% of all kinds of mixed drinks, as well as selling Red Bulls in bars. If someone's going to drink a Four Loko, or smoke a pack of cigarettes, or drive with their seatbelt off it is solely their decision. They know there is a risk involved, they are choosing to do as they please. It does not help to legislate against the item. "If you're gonna have a pro-drug argument, start the argument where it starts: I have the right to do what ever the hell I want to my own body, if it kills me slowly, happy for me, fuck you, "clack clack" stop me!" Alberta Canada is still not the United States. Does anyone else get the feeling this kid is coming here to help get his civics homework done?

I completly agree with you man, but there are more benificial views to taxation since every one is using. as for banning the alchoholic caffiine kind I would just say that its a personal view that anything fairly dangorous should be banned unless put to vote or the public wants it legalized like weed and alchohol.

There are already taxes in place on these products. Sin taxes have been around for decades. Increasing them is only going to hurt the economy.
