That's a REALLY good start.
Other wise.... this is already been answered

I am here on my Wife's study permit, and I have an open work permit because of it. In a year when it expires, we apply for a post grad permit which is good for 1-2 years depending on where you live in Canada. I am also considering entering a programme that would qualify me for a study permit.

It takes time and effort.
When we moved here we had to have $13k in the bank and proof of funds.

I'll tell you what my Old man used to tell me.....

"Look it up!"

Because actually, this isn't a snooty answer here... it's highly individual and all my answers and opinion on how we did it, isn't the final word.

Cheers

This is special underwear. It's designed for travel, specifically to protect your health and your dignity at TSA checkpoints, according to the clothing company Rocky Flats Gear.

"For the first time, radiological shields are attractive, durable, affordable, fun, and comfortable to wear."
