Criticizing TSA makes you a terrorist? Crazy if it's true...

I don't think this counts and an "official" source, but pretty creepy if it turns out to be true. The way things seem to be going, it wouldn't suprise me.

Full article here:

Canada Free Press

Following the publication of my article titled “Gate Rape of America,” I was contacted by a source within the DHS who is troubled by the terminology and content of an internal memo reportedly issued yesterday at the hand of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano. Indeed, both the terminology and content contained in the document are troubling. The dissemination of the document itself is restricted by virtue of its classification, which prohibits any manner of public release. While the document cannot be posted or published, the more salient points are revealed here.

The memo, which actually takes the form of an administrative directive, appears to be the product of undated but recent high level meetings between Napolitano, John Pistole, head of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA),and one or more of Obama’s national security advisors. This document officially addresses those who are opposed to, or engaged in the disruption of the implementation of the enhanced airport screening procedures as “domestic extremists.”

Either you are on the home team or the away team, this is not a neutral playing field...It's just too bad that the ball being passed around is humanities' civil liberties...

I think 'rape' is a strong word to use in any article.... personally.

From an 'oh shit' stand point... remember when they took away habius corpus for terrorists and anyone labeled as such?

The only difference between being a citizen with 'rights' and a 'terrorist' is the where they put your file or what rubber stamp they give you. It's all too simple it would seem to shoot down people who are fucking with you.

Now, I think it's funny the folks who get to deem my luggage 'safe' but I certainly don't want these folks having the ability to take away the constitutional rights of a citizen.

Sail.

All ya gotta do then is show up.

This is another of the governments dog and pony shows made up to make folks who will never ever get on a plane feel good about having our borders secure so the evil won't get us.

Another finger fucking for the common man.

If you could sign a waiver stating that you are aware of the dangers of air travel and that if anything does happen you could be blown out of the sky, but you could get out of the taxi and right on the airplane, would you do it?

It'd be the safest airliner in the sky. You try pulling something off on that fucking plane, you'd be dead before you hit the floor. People on that plane aint there to fuck around, they got places to be. Those weren't Southwest or JetBlue planes they flew into those towers.

I hear that, my wife wants to take the kids to Disneyworld for our oldests 7th birthday...that's a couple of years off but if it's like this now I shudder to imagine what it's going to be like then.

Of course, me having full sleeve tats and a perpetual scowl don't exactly make me look like Mr. happy airline traveler. My wife just thinks I'm some crazy conspiracy kook and still wants to go ahead with the trip, I don't. it's not even that I don't want to face the scanners/pat down, it's more of a principles thing.

The little conspiracy minded voice in my head says this whole TSA thing is going to be used to bring in biometric ID cards and/or RFID chips.

As a US citizen in Canada they are always asking 'Why did you leave' during the question process several times.....

Dude flipped out when I told him I had a Turkish coffee grinder coming back from Europe. I had to tell him it's how Turks make their cowboy coffee and explained it to him... I said the magic word, Pilgrim....

"Welcome home."

"Yes sir................. ..............(walks out side )..... wanker."

It's actually been easy compared to some hold ups I've seen on the border.

Canadian customs.....

swipes passport...."OK, welcome to Canada"

Not for us when we went up in October. Big, long, kinda funny story I'll tell one day here. It was actually a fun part of the adventure.

Crossing back to the States was a piece of cake. They didn't even pop the hatch.

Basically what Capt. said.

Go to Immigration Canada or NAFTA websites. It's individual how one gets here.
