Everything gets run up in price at the holidays. The money supply expands more than usual, due to the excess demand for money around the holidays, and higher prices are the inevitable result. The good news is, markets are already overbought, having run up prices from September due to the mid-term elections, so I wouldn't be surprised to see oil prices drop (along with everything else) within a month or so, regardless of the M1 increases.

Oil has no competition and has been priced at the very most the market will bear since 1971 when Nixon sent Kissinger to the Saudis to trade oil with them. There are 8 different fuels which can be made from hemp. No other changes other than the fuel. Much cleaner as it would take 80% of the pollution out of the air. I fought hard for this 20 years ago and told people then what is going to become of our country if we don't relegalize hemp.

growing a shitload of hemp shouldnt be that hard, but what about getting all the cars in america to actually run on hemp oil? i heard its only possible to easily convert from diesel to hemp.

There are actually 8 diggerent types of fuel that can be made from hemp biomass. Methyl ester, and methanol are two of them. Problem we have is there is no real research on what we could and should be doing. Oil is pricing itself right out of the market. Some car companies that have fed into the oil barons are waking up and looking for better options. When you pay for a new vehicle that offers may options, type of fuel should be one of them.

Once again, I have known this for many years. Cannabs isn't illegal because it's a dangerous drug. If you grow hemp for any purpose, you will be thrown in jail and your assets seized. You will be then labeled as a drug dealer. Don't be under the mistaken concept that Korporate Amerikka is on your side.

Correction, cannabis IS a dangerous drug....dangerous to certain industries' profit margins.

On a side note, I can't stand it when they jack the price of everything at caertain times of the year. It's not like people's salaries are going up, they just have to pay more for shit. All these places might as well just put up signs that say " We're raising the price of -insert product or service here- because it's christmas time and we know you'll pay for it anyways, no matter how much you complain."
