Constitutional GOPerversions & Their Pathetic Apologists

America has always been Liberal, starting with the forefathers. Not always Democrats, liberal republicans like Lincoln were always fighting the moneysluts. Since King George. Neocon GOPerverts are after money and power that comes with it. From buying the elections to perpetuating the drug war. Always the moneysluts and the cowards that are too stupid to see them for what they are. The media has always served power and the corporate interest Lincoln warned about. Today its worse than ever with 95% of all news outlets being controlled by 5 corporations.

The Pareto principle (also known as the 80-20 rule) states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. The so-called 'champagne glass' effect, was contained in the 1992 United Nations Development Program Report, which showed the distribution of global income to be very uneven, with the richest 20% of the world's population controlling 82.7% of the world's income. The Pareto principle has also been used to attribute the widening economic inequality in the United States to 'skill-biased technical change'—i.e. income growth accrues to those with the education and skills required to take advantage of new technology and globalization. However, Paul Krugman in The New York Times dismissed this "80-20 fallacy" as being cited "not because it's true, but because it's comforting." He notes that the benefits of economic growth over the last 30 years have largely been concentrated in the top 1%, rather than the top 20%.

There lies the problem. Not republican or democrat. greed and gullible followers. Paying taxes is a necessity for civilization. Dodging them is traitorous, especially when the wealthy do it for profit. Same as cheating a worker out of fair pay just to obtain cheap labor, ie more profit. Stop being so damn hypocritical, the military industry, police action wars and prisons caging growers are the waste teabogs should go after. Not the poor or workers.

"I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country... Corporations have bee enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money-power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed."
-- Abraham Lincoln, November 12, 1864

Drug War Clock
$794 million so far this year @ 2:43am

The U.S. federal government spent over $15 billion dollars in 2010 on the War on Drugs, at a rate of about $500 per second.

State and local governments spent at least another 25 billion dollars.

Arrests for drug law violations this year are expected to exceed the 1,663,582 arrests of 2009. Law enforcement made more arrests for drug abuse violations (an estimated 1.6 million arrests, or 13.0 percent of the total number of arrests) than for any other offense in 2009.

Someone is arrested for violating a drug law every 19 seconds.

Police arrested an estimated 858,408 persons for cannabis violations in 2009. Of those charged with cannabis violations, approximately 89 percent were charged with possession only. An American is arrested for violating cannabis laws every 30 seconds.

Since December 31, 1995, the U.S. prison population has grown an average of 43,266 inmates per year. About 25 per cent are sentenced for drug law violations.

Toxic Assets Getting You Down?

The big banks on Wall Street have blown a hole in the economy that will take many years to repair. Since the recession began in December 2007, the number of unemployed Americans has risen to 16 million, Americans are losing health care and foreclosures are still rising. We are in a big hole and it is going to take big ideas to climb out of it.

unfortunately eating the rich is not that far fetched.

politicians will never solve the worlds problems, they simply do not have the skills for it.

At some point all societies will be forced to realize this.

Either thru peacful transition, or bloody revolution.
(most predict revolution)

I'm for the former but prepared for the latter.

time for some serious social engineering, rather than more of the same.

GOP assassins have been baiting rednecks to shoot opposition since Kennedy.

John Boehner

"oe" as in aloe, backhoe, banjoes, beachgoer, calicoes, dildoes would make it Boner.

"oe" as in amoeba would make it Beaner

"oe" as in canoe would make it Booner

I see no where does "oe" sound like "A"...

In German, the letters 'oeh' are pronounced like the letters 'ew' in 'new'

So is Boehner a Beaner in the Boonies with a boner?
Or maybe John is pronounced Jane?

I also see no where does skin turn that color orange.
Maybe he eats a lot of carrots...

He does have a handle on crying on que, especially to pass legislation harming the average American.

Indeed, as recently as last week, party leaders were not only sticking to the $100 billion figure, they insisted that they would make the cuts without touching defense, Social Security, or Medicare.

Even after being confronted with evidence that such a goal would necessitate devastating cuts to education, health care, law enforcement, and transportation, House Republicans said they didn't care. After all, they said, a promise is a promise, and this is a priority the GOP is willing to fight for.

Or rather, it was.

Monday, Republicans started slowly backing away from their $100 billion commitment. Yesterday, the pledge was effectively thrown out the window.

Oh, I see. Republican pledges are "hypothetical" promises. The Pledge to America must have included asterisks and disclaimers in font so small, the country missed the caveats.

No wonder he cry's so much.

I'm relieved that John F. Kerry last posted at 2:45. My first thought when the news frenzy began around 1 today was, "God, I hope that's not Kerry."

"because i dont think its the 2 party system thats fucked up, i think its that the 2 party system cant solve all our problems on its own" -jfk

It cant solve ANY of our problems on its own will, they just work for themselves and IF IN DOING SO they happen to, unintentionally, help a certain percentage of the population in some small way then they use that as the hook to catch a lot of brain dead fish like you who buy into that bullshit and just sit in front of your tv waiting for fox news to tell you "all has been fixed, worry not, continue watching our other shit."
