"Worst person in the word- worst ratings in the world."
lol it clearly says that he was fired because of the merger, not because of ratings Quote:
I dont like what people like Rush Limbaugh are saying but at least I support his right to say it.

Kery if you hate Americans so much why not move back to Russia?
Final Countdown:
Keith Olbermann And MSNBC Announce They Are Parting Ways huffingtonpost In his final goodbye, Olbermann made a point to thank his audience for supporting him when he felt he could not continue the show: There were many occasions, particularly in the last two-and-a-half years, where all that surrounded the show--but never the show itself--was just too much for me. But your support and loyalty and, if I may use the word, insistence, ultimately required me to keep going. My gratitude to you is boundless and if you think I've done any good here, imagine how it looked from this end...this may be the only television program wherein the host was much more in awe of the audience than vice versa. He asked sarcastically what problem Democrats could have had with Lieberman's domestic positions--"except for the estate tax, the Bush tax cuts, school vouchers, gay marriage, homeland security, the public option, the Medicare buy-in, privatizing Social Security and tort reform."--let alone his foreign policy choices. What did KO do that merited his dismissal, JFK?
There's a difference between inflammatory and inflammatory bullshit, and I don't really see much of the latter in his show. What I do see is great potential for KO to reinvent himself and come out really swinging on his own terms. I would never want to see Rush go, he's good fodder for conversation ....listening to his show is like one long bullshit alarm going off the whole time. |

the tv is a box of fantasy and illusion, reality is not tolerated.

Andrew Belonsky :: Saturday, January 22, 2011 Now that Keith Olbermann and MSNBC have parted ways, should the news personality become a public servant?
