I need some pity

So yesterday morning we had a bad storm. It knocked my power out. I did what I always do, got out the battery powered radio, and tuned in to a local station known for their local news in such situations.

Well................ .....

My power was off for 11 hours and 15 minutes. Every time I tuned in for power updates, I had to listen to Rush Limbaugh. I mean, what the fuck??? The man is insane.

To me at this point Rush is just Rush. He has is just an actor now. He's outlandish just for the sack of it. The other conservative talk show host erk me more! I think Sean Hannity and the Guardian Angels Douche rag, are way worse, because I think they actually believe what they preach. Rush just says stupid stuff to get attention and in-turn make money.
The other day he was bitching about Consumers Reports being bought out. Im paraphrasing here but he basically said... I know CR is bought out because they have been really wrong for the past few years, and i know this because (and this part is an exact quote) " I am rich and buy alot of stuff" and my opinion and theirs never matches up Just Rush being Rush!
I used to listen to him all the time and it would fire me up now it more like a comedy bit.
Sean, Mark Liven and the rest still really get to me!

When I drove truck conservative talk radio is about THE only talk radio in the area where I drove, so I got an ear of Rush a lot of days. I think as long as one can remember that it's spin based on actual events, it's pretty harmless, however..... however.... I think lots of folks take this stuff as Gospel.

Rush it AT LEAST so outlandish that you can laugh a little..

It's the Hannitys and the Becks that really scare me.
