and tbh , tickets to the shuttle launch have pros and cons... i mean it is cool - but you have to wait hours and hours and take the buses and get bused to the right area and wait and wait.... read reviews about it if you dont believe me.

its probably worth it to see the last launch ever... but if i was down there now, i would happily go to the nearby beaches or even watch it from somewhere else in florida- u can see it launch from orlando, etc... check out youtube vids people have of the shuttle launching while they were at disney world its pretty cool shit.

but to actually be in the official viewing areas u have to go thru all sorts of security and get there like 5 hours early.... id prefer sitting on a beach a little further from the crowds....spliff in hand, camera at the ready.... which was what i was gonna do for the last one.... but sadly it was delayed... they get delayed all the friggen time for all sorts of reasons.


if i did brave all that though, it would be a pretty incredible site and experience...

At the very least J, I pick on you J cuz you can take it. This was more of a lighthearted jab though.

I'm not going by myself, and I am well aware of the down time, but the tickets also include entrance to the Kennedy Space Center, an IMAX show, and an Astronaut Encounter, whatever that means. I will be hitting the beaches and other things while I'm in Orlando as well.

And yes, I'm hoping to come back with plenty of Pics and Vids.
