Yea, in the hundred or so applications I've filled out in my life as an american worker, I've never run across that question. Never.
Lately on all applications, be it middle management or warehouse worker, all have required backround check and drug testing.
A few even want credit checks.

It's ironic to me that it's taken us over 200 years to finally start taking seriously the "all men are created equal" line in the Declaration of Independence, yet the Tea Party, supposed champions of the Constitution and Declaration have proved time and time again their utter unwillingness to support the basic, fundamental human rights that phrase implies.

Once again the far right proves its' shameless hypocrisy by pandering to the superstitious and shunning the disenfranchised.
