I dont see that happening, unless we discover a gigantic gold reservoir frosted with diamonds in mars, or a defensless alien specie we can exploit for cheap labor. There is just no profits in space for companies to shell out the dough, space has been studied and deemed unprofitable, thats why the government took on the task.
