... i get the sense that you are trying to use the stock market fluctuations as evidence of whether the debt deal was a good idea? well thats a whole nother thread my friend, but if u want to start using stock market performance as a benchmark for whether a policy is wise or not, thats fair...as long as, of course, your willing to do that all the time, even when dems do something u like. if ur just using it selectively thats pretty absurd because the market fluctuates all the time for all sorts of reasons.... but if that is your new measure of what is wise and what isnt, fair enough. but remember, the other side can use that argument too.

here is your dow average for when obama signed obamacare- in march-april the dow was rising....then when obama signed it in mid april, it crashed 10 percent and stayed in the dumps the entire summer....

I'm pissed about NASA too, IMO NASA funding is much more important than half the bullshit this country blows it's money on.

But we are where we are and I cant see NASA being legit again for at least another decade or much more.

The one exciting thing about this is that space technology and exploration is going to get a big commercial push. It's going to take alot of time but real progression can still happen under free enterprise. There are alot of resources just on our moon alone.

If you compare the cost to the benefits, it's been a total waste, compared to having had those billions pumped into education. But then again, multimillion dollar corporations would have suffered , and we just couldn't have that in a corporatocracy.

America is a business, giving into worker demands/needs just is/was not cost effective.
.....exporting jobs and importing inferior products...now that's good business.

It's no doubt just a phase you're going thru.

You must realize the current economic depression is not the fault of one particular party's policy alone. It is systemic. The entire American political system is currently controlled and manipulated by the wealthiest 10% of the population. It is no longer a government; of, by, and for the people, as it at one time was proposed, and is often suggested, to be.

Currently the the republican party in particular, are attempting to undo decades of reform put into place to protect the people by both parties thru debate/legislation, again this is being done only in favor of (at the demands of) the wealthy special interest contributors. The republicans are desperate at this point. If you don't believe it just go to youtube and pull up one of the 50 or so (expensive) slander ads against the current president, in a futile effort to gain even more political control, that the majority of the population is turning against.
See how the ads are very similar to Nazi propaganda films. If you can look thru the cloud of republicanism you seem to be posessed with.
