Your average chav does not want to work they sit on the dole and live off benefits, they top their basic benefits up by claiming incapacity benefit for pyschical/mental problems they dont have or by having kids, the more kids they have the more money they are handed, they get a given a bigger house etc etc. They thrive off the misery of others and do their best to inflict it on those around them.

Dont believe the bullshit about they're poor kids with no options, you've never out of options in this country, the benefits they live off are supposed to be a safety net but its far too comfortable and easily exploited. Theres any amounts of options for young people, if you cant find work the government will PAY you to do a college course for fucks sake, this could lead to a job or university or whatever.

The problem is its too easy and lucrative for people to just do fuck all and claim benefits. Yet the fuckers still have the cheek to claim theyre hard done by.

The majority supposed 'victims' live off HUGE amounts of benefits, Job Seekers allowance, and childrens/working tax credits. They live in free houses in the most expensive part of the country and have bills paid for them that make the average working man sweat about each payday.
There is plenty of work in London, but most of these people do not want to work for a living, they are comfortable taking from the system and never putting anything in. There are of course genuine cases of people not being able to work and this is fair enough, but for alot of people in this country it is a way of life to have several kids at a young age and then get a free house and all bills paid for you. Alot of the kids on the streets during these riots, are the kids of people who fall into this category. Continous breeding of kids who have no respect for the law.

These people are not in this to protest being fucked by the man, they are doing it because they are scum and they have no respect for anyone.

This argument seems to come up every time there's a riot. In LA in '92, it was set off when the cops that beat Rodney King went unpunished, but quickly devolved into a free-for-all for free TV's and shit. You saw pictures in the news of little kids pulling TV's home in their wagons, and jokes about how the bookstore didn't have a single item taken, etc. Everyone said the same thing about our chavs: the welfare leaches of the inner city were destroying their own neighborhoods, what kind of protest is that?

The riot started for a good reason, tho. And I think that's how these things happen. The riot destroys the credibility of it's participants, because none of the actions of stealing and vandalism are in reaction to the original cause of the riot. But the riot itself does not get set off without good social reasons. These things are never started because a large enough segment of the population hasn't gone shopping in awhile.

I think riots are a lot like The Kraken. The Kraken destroys mindlessly, and without purpose, but he must be released in order to do so. What I see in the arguments above is one group criticizing the actions of the beast, and another criticizing those who unleashed it. Both are right, obviously, but what will be done to prevent the next riot? Stop doing the shit that releases the Kraken!

In America we "created/adopted" slavery @ one time...to be a "normal" way of life.
We adopted /created this "class" system to keep those workers poorer and more uneducated with less opportunity to advance themselves (until the 60's theoretically) than their wealthy owners/bosses.

From these actions , the direct result was a welfare system.
