Now is the time for the GOP, tea party, and conservatives to strategically pivot.
So heres my thinking,
we went from 2 years of Obamanomics, expanding entitlements racking up huge deficits and debts, and just crazy stuff... and then the backlash has been going for some time now, but its a pretty visceral fight because some of the dems, like the ultra libs, are pretty much backed into a corner here, trying desperately to defend things that a majority of people just seem to think cant be sustained without changes anymore... they even lost the union battle in wisconsin just yesterday, despite dropping 30 million... so i think no one denys that entitlement expansion and the way it hurts our economy is pretty much a broadly agreed upon conclusion now. the problem for the right is, that a lot of people are desperate to keep most or some of their benefits...because look at london, poor people are friggen desperate, and the more poor the more desperate. so ultimately the gop and even the tea party has an interest in making people relatively happy and content and the best thing to do would be to make them better employees and consumers, which would help everyone, including even the rich people. so, now the debate has been between "no tax increases" (at all) versus "huge entitlement cuts, like massive ones" alone. and this shows both how far advanced the tea party platform is, how many people recognize the long term problems and are FINALLY voting to fix em... but also, it creates people like roach, and the people in london. so now would be the perfect time for the gop and tea party to strategically pivot. to- we will accept some changes to taxes, maybe loophole closing which actually LOWERs marginal rates... and in exchange you dems must support huge, even bigger than what you wanted when you were putting out your "best case" position, changes to entitlements, because we are gonna compromise on taxes, even tho we might have been able to use tea party anger to get it done totally on our own...but for the good of the country, unlike the way obama shoved thru obamacare, we are gonna accept a compromise and get a deal that even 2 years ago would have seemed like a dream for the true conservatives. say to the skeptical tea party people- "who would have thought it was plausible to get dems to agree to massive changes in wellfare benefits- which make the system sustainable, and set us up for the future instead of using politics to dig us into an ever deeper hole" and if gop people do some compormise on taxes, even if it lowers rates, but changes loopholes, then dems can save face, like kruschev in the cuban missle crisis- and the gop and tea party can get a wide bipartisan agreement on something that like 60% and growing percent of the country thinks is important and necessary. /good idea. |

Why is it always about entitlement whacking or taxing the rich and never about stopping the never ending wars or cutting all foreign aid? In other words, let the empire building end.

The problem with all these solutions people come up with is that they only treat the scabs, but the disease remains.

Qerry are you totally brain gimpy or is it just on special occasions?
Qerry you are a bold faced liar and really weird sucking up to such low life's. You were "thinking" is the funniest thing I've heard all day. All Neocons are Liberals jerk off. As long as the government spends taxes on prisons and the Military the degenerates have no problems. Only when the workers tax money returns to the workers do you start whining. Everything the Neocumsuckers request is for the rich and international corporations. Thats what makes you a traitor. Besides a very boring lapdog. Get over it you nazi wannabe shit. Obama's black, and all the shit-eating, senior citizen bashing, child molesting you do won't ever change that. Get over it. There is not one teabog dipshit worthy of citizenship let alone being elected to represent actual Americans. Haggee and Pat Robotson are more brain gimp than you. What you or your gutless dung worriers fail to understand is that all the lies about unemployed Americans and the poor are being heard by unemployed Americans and the poor. The workers know where the money went and they know it wasn't them spending it. Vengeance is mine sayeth the lord but who listens to him? Vengeance is ours sayeth the oppressed reading trash from fools like you. Hide Qerry, that's the only chance you got. Now go away, you make me sick...

What is the New Apostolic Reformation movement? This comes from what should be a must read article at the Texas Observer: ![]() Rick Perry's Army of God By Forrest Wilder, Texas Observer On September 28, 2009, at 1:40 p.m., God's messengers visited Rick Perry. On this day, the Lord's messengers arrived in the form of two Texas pastors, Tom Schlueter of Arlington and Bob Long of San Marcos, who called on Perry in the governor's office inside the state Capitol. Schlueter and Long both oversee small congregations, but they are more than just pastors. They consider themselves modern-day apostles and prophets, blessed with the same gifts as Old Testament prophets or New Testament apostles. The pastors told Perry of God's grand plan for Texas. A chain of powerful prophecies had proclaimed that Texas was "The Prophet State," anointed by God to lead the United States into revival and Godly government. And the governor would have a special role. The day before the meeting, Schlueter had received a prophetic message from Chuck Pierce, an influential prophet from Denton, Texas. God had apparently commanded Schlueter -- through Pierce -- to "pray by lifting the hand of the one I show you that is in the place of civil rule." Gov. Perry, it seemed. Schlueter had prayed before his congregation: "Lord Jesus I bring to you today Gov. Perry. ... I am just bringing you his hand and I pray Lord that he will grasp ahold of it. For if he does you will use him mightily." ![]() Michele Bachmann Repeatedly Sought Stimulus, EPA, Other Government Funds Bachmann petitioned the federal government for direct financial help or aid. Facts, figures and statistics <(present) In the Asian, African and Latin American countries, well over 500 million people are living in what the World Bank has called "absolute poverty" Every year 15 million children die of hunger For the price of one missile, a school full of hungry children could eat lunch every day for 5 years Throughout the 1990's more than 100 million children will die from illness and starvation. Those 100 million deaths could be prevented for the price of ten Stealth bombers, or what the world spends on its military in two days! The World Health Organization estimates that one-third of the world is well-fed, one-third is under-fed one-third is starving- Since you've entered this site at least 200 people have died of starvation. Over 4 million will die this year. One in twelve people worldwide is malnourished, including 160 million children under the age of 5. United Nations Food and Agriculture The Indian subcontinent has nearly half the world's hungry people. Africa and the rest of Asia together have approximately 40%, and the remaining hungry people are found in Latin America and other parts of the world. Hunger in Global Economy Nearly one in four people, 1.3 billion - a majority of humanity - live on less than $1 per day, while the world's 358 billionaires have assets exceeding the combined annual incomes of countries with 45 percent of the world's people. UNICEF 3 billion people in the world today struggle to survive on US$2/day. In 1994 the Urban Institute in Washington DC estimated that one out of 6 elderly people in the U.S. has an inadequate diet. In the U.S. hunger and race are related. In 1991 46% of African-American children were chronically hungry, and 40% of Latino children were chronically hungry compared to 16% of white children. The infant mortality rate is closely linked to inadequate nutrition among pregnant women. The U.S. ranks 23rd among industrial nations in infant mortality. African-American infants die at nearly twice the rate of white infants. One out of every eight children under the age of twelve in the U.S. goes to bed hungry every night. Half of all children under five years of age in South Asia and one third of those in sub-Saharan Africa are malnourished. In 1997 alone, the lives of at least 300,000 young children were saved by vitamin A supplementation programmes in developing countries. Afghanistan, Iraq, Collateral Damage and the Banality of Killing Six people were killed and 14 were injured in the Arizona shootings, including a woman who was shot through the head and a 9-year-old girl whose life was snuffed out. Everyone is shocked over the horror, which is detailed on the front page of every newspaper across the country. But let’s face it: Such killings go on every week in Afghanistan and Iraq and have for some 10 years. Parents, children, brothers, sisters, cousins, grandparents, friends, brides, grooms, and wedding parties. People are killed in those two countries every week, and the killing has now expanded to people in Pakistan. Starving Babies and Illegal Food

Yawn. That's why you're a bold faced liar. They haven't cut a dime from the GOP drug war or the other GOP police actions or any other GOP tax shelter for the international corporations and top 2%. Only cuts to the middle class and poor. As bad as the DEA kicking women with Polio. Heartless cuts to regulations we the people petitioned for because of what these maggots were dumping in their neighborhoods and streams. Nothing political except by corporate lawyers like Cliarence Thomas. Saving Monsanto restitution or others saving Exxon deadbeats, making us workers pay for their 100 billion dollar spill in Alaska... and the new one in the Gulf. Fred Barns for khrist sakes, idiot, he is a Neocon. WSJ is a Rupert Murdoch production. Propaganda for their own fucking profits dipshit. You and your love affair with pelosi was boring month's ago before the election. This has nothing to do with Pelosi or Democrats or even republicans. It's world banks, international corporations and gullible twits like you diverting everything to the same boring scapegoating of anything non reagan. Pelosi's feelings have as much to say about the conditions as your lame ass toad worshipping. I wish Pelosi would leave just so you have to find another hobgoblin to blame. Your copied gossip from the other side steppers reach the ears of millions of Americans the same as the anti American Neocon fascists commercials. Fracking natural gas or clean coal is self promoting profits. That's it, end of story. Same with getting elected. Doesn't matter what they say as far as reality or truth. Just get elected.
Are the Teabogs Traitors, Serving a Southern Neoconfederacy? ![]() You think Koch's 8 million to one small district in WI was the same as one of us donating 10 bucks? You really believe a corporation is a human with free speech rights? When you try to gut regulations you hurt Americans living in the area. When their kid gets cancer do you think you will be loved for it? You think the corporation that murdered the kids with cancer will be put in prison? Cinder block by cinder block? You believe an invisible God people ask for football tickets and a win. I'm sure Hagee is on his knees and while there he's probably praying for the Apocalypse so Geeeeeezus can smite the hippies and minorities and all egg sucking dog Neocons can live happily ever after spewing dioxins and pcb's to their black hearts content. War with each other to keep the Haliburtons in business. Those two trillion dollars never enter your empty mind did it? Based on a Dick Cheney Neocon lie and yet you think it's Pelosi? All she ever did was speak out for health care, gays and medicinal pot users and you dismiss everything the cut throats did for that? Paranoid asshole ain't ya? I guess with no self esteem following Khristzionity, its easier to believe buildings can speak and have the same right to donate to or against campaigns. You believe in reefer madness the same way? Gutless and brain dead. Pitifool. Most I pity, you I condemn. Neocon Teabogs Really Are "Bloodlusting Terrorists" ![]() I know what conservative people I talk too think of them giving republicans a bad name and reputation. They're embarrassed, while you drag their shit into public view. Like a baby proud of his new diaper dump wanting to show it off to everyone. Too gutless to speak the truth or lay out a realistic tangible fact. Just ends justifying means empty words naive twits like you suck up. Because you're too blind with rage against chicks in politics to see. Or your remaining buzzwords replacing your mothers buzzwords and her fathers before him. Dumb GOPers donating their time so Neocons can actually cash in on destroying the governments ability to regulate the very banks who pillaged us into the mess we have. For that hate against you is justifiable. We the People pay the tax your cowards shelter in anti drug propaganda. We pay for the poor but they spend the money locally so it helps our communities. While your greed takes it away. Your ugly American disgusting moneyslut actions are showing up in the infrastructure and school conditions and in the new prisons being constructed as crime supposedly is down. You're a liar and nothing you say or divert too has any power anymore, as if it ever did. Most here see through your lack of intelligence designed agenda. The only ones who don't are those without brains to think for themselves and rely on Faux Newts and Hagee idiots. You're just silly. You won't kill yourself and you seem to be a glutton for punishment. All I can say is your displays of unsubstanciated yellow journalism and gossip gives me a place to sort my refs and display pics. It lets actual Americans see behind the screen of Handidy and O'Really and MSNBC Krat cheerleaders. Get in line dude... right after mit romney danced around the question "would you vote to extend unemployment benefits to those currently unemployed if you were president right now" he was basicallly saying no, he'd be willing to cut the throats of about 20 million people.
then the "faux news" feed went down. I'd have liked to have heard from the other GOP candidates, but I expect they'd all follow along party lines...except Paul. Rick Santorum is a total idiot, along with Newt , Bauchman, The black guy (don't even know where he came from) .

I think it is interesting that this only seems to apply to poor people. But corporations, wealthy citizens, for them the sense of entitlement never ends.

Nader/Paul/Kucinich/Johnson/BarneyFrank = No Drug War
No Drug War = big hit on G-20 Neocons and War Profiteers.
Starting a New Party Might Be Interesting. Green Libertarians and their Lucky Charms. Pro Clean Air, Water, Dirt and Food. Peace, Love and Liberty for All, even the rich. Money isn't mentioned in the Constitution. Corporations can oppress the same as despots. Remove the money and we'll have Clean Politicians. No profit campaign advertising. Same prices but the public airwaves and subsidized cable should be compensated at cost. Eliminating the overhead of tax cheating corporate media networks. Elections or the Bill of Rights should be free of commercial contamination. A fee on percentage purchased could go to vote count fraud and missing or intentionally late or changed ballot investigations. Upgrading machines and at least since states have the authority to govern their own voting proceedures, over the feds. They should be a fed oversight to investigate and all precincts in the state should be uniform. Districts drawn by politicians is the fox gaurding the henhouse. Counties are already on the map. Florida and Wisconson are so obvious its foolish to think its not bias. Red flags and no one wants to see them. Remove the money and we'll have Justice. No incentive for crooked cops or ego tripping DA's & Dreamteams. 5 straws 2 lawyers 1 judge. Shortest straw is Prosecutor, Longest the judge. Middleman defends. Doesn't matter who you know or what you got stashed in a Swiss Bank account. No profit prisons, hospitals or schools. Or taxing the workers in service positions. What is the government for except to provide us our chance of pursuing happiness. Money removes that chance with bogus drug laws and special circumstances depending on non evidence. Winning a case isn't necessarily removing the violent offender from the public. Taking shortcuts to advance careers spits in the face of Justice. Worse it stops investigations to stop the guilty from repeating the violence. Unemployment is the hardest job anyone can get. With kids it can't be any less terrorizing than sick Ganja patients wondering if their doors will be kicked down for easing the pain. Homelessness is a path to insanity, a deterrent to whistleblowers. How far have we sunk in the off road places if Wall St New York baths in dysfunction. Tax the shit out of the Rich and build a Ganja Park. Better than some Saudi prince or Chinese dictator getting it. We the People demand Sovereignty from International Corporations buttfucking our store bought politicians. ![]() Freak Trade * Free Raids "We shall build great ships. At a profit if we can. At a loss if we must. But we shall build great ships." Target's rape factory Thousands of Change.org members have already spoken out against abuses at what's becoming known as the "rape factory" in Jordan. “We only went to Jordan to earn money to help our families; we had no idea that factory managers would rape so many of us young girls,” said a young woman who goes by the name Nazma to protect her identity. Nazma is one of the dozens of Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi young women who have been sexually assaulted by supervisors at Classic Factory in northern Jordan, which makes clothes for American brands like Walmart, Target, and Macy's. Leading up to next week’s trial against a Classic supervisor charged with rape -- the first such trial -- managers are escalating abuses. Supervisors are locking victims and witnesses in the factory, threatening and intimidating them to ensure they will not testify. And although the Jordanian government promised that Anil Santha, the manager accused of rape, would not be allowed to return before the trial, he's back on the factory floor. Despite global outcry over Classic’s abuses and the tactics they’re using to dodge justice, international customers like Walmart, Target, and Macy's are still buying Classic clothing. Given the critical situation on the ground, Classic Factory workers, consumers, and human rights organizations, are urgently calling on these high-profile companies to immediately condemn human rights abuses and force change. Click here to sign the petition now. Target and Macy's have claimed that they are investigating conditions at the factory, but they're deferring to the Jordanian Ministry of Economy and Labor -- which claims there is no evidence of sexual abuse. Instead, conditions are getting worse. In addition to imprisoning women inside the factory, managers are removing all the males workers -- in some cases even deporting them -- cutting the staff to older male supervisors and vulnerable young women. At Classic's urging, the government also arrested the leader of an outside human rights NGO and took his passport to prevent him from intervening to protect the women at the factory. “All we can do is cry,” Nazma said. “We ask the people who buy our garments, please end this abuse and torture we face. We should be able to work without fear of sexual assault.” Now is a critical moment for action. Outside pressure and attention can ensure that victims and witnesses are freed and can testify against their rapists -- and that Classic Factory reforms its policies and practices. Otherwise, the manager and supervisors will continue to imprison, assault, and rape girls and women with renewed impunity. Nader told POLITICO on Wednesday that he is working on bringing together about half a dozen presidential candidates who could “dramatically expand a robust discussion within the Democratic Party and among progressive voters across the country.” Each would focus on a specific issue where the far left says Obama hasn’t done enough, including the environment, labor and health care. In an op-ed published Wednesday morning by Bloomberg News, Nader laid out the argument that…Obama is “really in a very, very powerful position” to win reelection, Nader told POLITICO, and the slate of candidates wouldn’t be meant to give Obama a serious challenge for the Democratic nomination, but instead to “structurally pull him in the opposite direction” than he’s taken since his 2008 campaign. If there was a group of people from the president’s own party geared up to debate him in Iowa and New Hampshire, “it is harder for him to say no,” Nader said. “His strategists can say, ‘Don’t fight it, Barack; use it, revel in it; you’re good on your feet.” Read more. Same old republican song and dance is what I saw in the debates. No candidate is willing to have a balanced approach on the deficit reduction. No candidate is willing to fairly tax large corporations or their wealthy supporters, by eliminating loopholes in tax laws. No candidates proposed tax break elimination to increase revenue, which is not, a tax increase....
All said they supported no "tax increase" which is republican speak for not fairly taxing system or flat tax. Several skirted "danced around" direct questions, giving only answers to unasked questions. None of them are what I would consider even a reasonable challenge for the current president, with the possible exception of Ron Paul....unfortunatel y tho, he would still "run the republican line" if nominated. No, I saw absolutely no solutions to America's economic depression, no solutions to America's lack of foreign policy, no valid solutions to Americas growing debt problems, again with the possible exception of Paul. None of the republican candidates want military spending cuts, none want useless overseas military bases closed. All proposed even further corporate tax reduction in order to "create jobs"...Which has not worked in at least the past decade. Again and again, the republicans want to rather overturn abortion laws, none are pro choice. Several want gay rights rolled back, And repeated mentioned opposition to civil unions. (both of which are republican non issue debate strategies to confuse or divert from "major issues") Yes, I'd say the republicans again have no valid candidate (including Palin, and Perry) who is even nearly quallified to run against Obama in 2012.

u know, compromise is about meeting people halfway.
the taxes in this country are already outrageous, even on rich people. the corporate rates are twice what they are in other western countries. so that sanctimonious bulshit is bulshit. i read that there are 8,000 people in america who make over 10 million a year. ok, so there are 299,992,000 people who arent multimillionairs, and those 8,000 people pay something like 40% of our countries income tax. (and the top 10% of people pay about 90% of income tax). so frankly, the idea that sticking it to those few people will help the situation is ludicrous- maybe u should ask what dems can do to help fix the problem? some people champion the idea of a flat tax for this very reason. if we made everyone pay a fair share, it could be drastically less, and we'd still take in more money. the fact is that 60% of people dont pay in a cent and take out a ton. (or maybe its that 60% takes out more than they pay in, not exactly sure,) ...im with u about the lack of a good candidate tho, my money is on romney , but hes not a very good debater. and hes really only the best of a bad bunch.... but in this kind of situation just wait, im sure some good person will come out of left field. they need to get leonardo dicaprio or something ![]() edit- http://www.huliq.com/3257/nearly-50-...ral-income-tax
