OK, now to get the point im making here you have to have a bit of a memory.

Obama has, in the last 3 years.

1. told the supreme court that he felt it was doing the wrong thing to decide something the way he didnt like- during his state of the union speech- and while the justices were sitting in front of him, which pissed alito off so much that he shook his head breaking protocol....

2. called a "bipartisan healthcare" meeting, to put on a show for the camera,s in which he told off john mccain and said "you know john, i won"... and then proceeded to shove thru the same obamacare that half the people didnt want.

3. called cantor and boener to a speech on the debt limit, after extending an olive branch to them, in which he proceeded to shittalk them literally right to their faces and right after pretending to want to compromise.

and now, his amazing new (according to ap) "Long awaited" (by who the 38 percent who approve of him?) jobs plan... he wants to stage a huge obama 2k12 rally during a joint session of congress- inject himself into a situation that just about everyone agrees he cant do much about, and make it harder for moderates on both sides to afterward agree to compromises that actually make sense and will help our country.

thats 4 times... if i was a paid writer i could probably find and think of another 10 that he did the same thing.

wtf. aside from a base crass political calculation what possible good could a huge obama rally right before the congress was supposed to start working acomplish? please , tell me.

ok... if he would actually propose something that moderates and tea parties could like a bit, or at least stomach, then maybe just maybe its might come to some good- but if its just going to be the same bulshit poll tested language about "shared sacrifice" and "spreading the wealth around"...i mean seriously, if i was a dem i wouldnt even want him to do that and remind people of what they dont like about him.... does that really seem likely to help at all...or work at all?

Not that I'm for obombacre but "shoving" something thru should mean that more than half were against what was being shoved thru. And the part of obombacare that the majority was for, the public option, was killed off by the republicans so I guess they did some shoving too.

It's strange but it never used to be this drastic. There used to be many republican ideas I supported, however, just naturally swung more Dem. Nevertheless, I could still see Republican's with decent policy ideas. However, I'm not sure I have seen any in a long time nor am I confident the Republicans will be doing anything but obstructing which will be to their quick demise. :devil:
