By reailty TV i mean those who think it's true to life.

More like those who believe in WWF wrestling is real.

Well that would be like believing that televised Politics are real... sadly it's nothing more than WWF for semi intelligent people...

I'm not apathetic but I would rather not listen to a bunch of lying twats tell me how they're all going to make things better and then continue down the same dark path. I prefer to vote for our stewards based on how they vote within the guidelines of the constitution.

What's the use of listening to someone say they're going to do "X" to try and fix things and then instead goes right along doing plan "Q" that has been the standing plan for ten+ years? That is deff not going to make anything better, no one's situation will be made better because of it... unless you happen to own a large bank...

I happen to not own a large bank and have made myself better.

Perhaps you should stop blaming others for your failure.

I on the other hand, will wholeheartedly give my taxed income to those that need it regardless of how hard the politicians screwed them.

Yes, and considering I am paying taxes and not fleeing to another country, your welcome.

Enjoy and use it to better your own life.

now you just sound like a republican teabagger.

give your success a break for a moment, and try to consider others' points of view.

if you can.

What exactly is my failure, since you know my life so well? I mean I graduated high school joined the military, received bullshit healthcare that has resulted in a 60% loss of the use of my right ankle, I'm currently in school with a 3.5 gpa, I gladly pay my State taxes, and grudgingly pay federal taxes (that do not go to service anything but the ever increasing interest on the money our government gets from the Federal Reserve). So where sir is my failure? My desire to at the very least have the option of where my tax money goes? My desire to opt out of programs that I've no intention of utilizing? Please enlighten me...

I can, and I know that with government help anyone can achieve anything if they stop blaming the government for their shortcomings.

Because I have lived in countries that do not have such safety nets for their citizens.

JP, your failure is accepting government funds while proclaiming to be independent.

I agree, but not through a government sponsored military.

I paid my own way to see the world.

not sure if this is aimed at me, but having had my ankle destroyed in the service of my country, I'll accept whatever Veteran benefits I can get, esp since my injury could have been avoided with proper medical care that I requested and never got.
