Yup, Black and White Leave Things Pretty Gray
Chris Hedges today:
“What was played out in the weeks after the attacks was the old, familiar battle between force and human imagination, between the crude instruments of violence and the capacity for empathy and understanding. Human imagination lost. Coldblooded reason, which does not speak the language of the imagination, won. We began to speak and think in the empty, mindless nationalist clichés about terror that the state handed to us. We became what we abhorred. The deaths were used to justify pre-emptive war, invasion, Shock and Awe, prolonged occupation, targeted assassinations, torture, offshore penal colonies, gunning down families at checkpoints, massive aerial bombardments, drone attacks, missile strikes and the killing of dozens and soon hundreds and then thousands and later tens of thousands and finally hundreds of thousands of innocent people. We produced piles of corpses in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan, and extended the reach of our killing machine to Yemen and Somalia. And by beatifying our dead, by cementing into the national psyche fear and the imperative of permanent war, and by stoking our collective humiliation, the state carried out crimes, atrocities and killings that dwarfed anything carried out against us on 9/11. The best that force can do is impose order. It can never elicit harmony. And force was justified, and is still justified, by the first dead. Ten years later these dead haunt us like Banquo’s ghost.” ![]() Remembering 9/10 by Pete Guither Quote:
At the time there were many protests in the street against the WTO. Most notably was the Battle in Seattle in 99. Ongoing protests against the world banksters and the Military Industrial complex left me no doubt the attacks on 911 were somehow domestic. Previous weeks of protests and posts against the wars and trade orchestrations, especially NAFTA/GATT Clinton gave us. Of coarse the logical targets would be the WTC and the Pentagon. I remember writing that these would be the logical targets for any terrorist organization since these two entities are the most responsible for the worlds impoverished and the world’s wars protecting vested interest. I remember after Oklahoma bombing the first thing the media did was put out an all points bulletin for “Arab Terrorists”. Then stumbling on McVeigh proved domestic terrorism is just as devastating. The drug war has no explosions or rather implosions. But the DEAth and Torture is just as rank and prevalent. 911 turned a bumbling idiot into a bumbling idiot with a ruthless VP and war department funding to take Halliburton out of the red paying off lawsuits for Asbestos poisoning. I still believe Clintons blowjob got more investigating and the evidence just removed to foreign scrap yards. A hand picked committee to form the investigation. Why not just get those lounging on Pete’s couch to investigate the drug war? Pretty sure the conclusions would be a tad different than Gilberts. I remember the same lemmings jerking off their plastic flags pretending for a few moments we were all a united people. But the plastic they were spasming was bought at Wallmart, made in China, by kids in sweatshops from crude oil sold by Iraq and Iran and the family of Osama bin Laden. The same bin Laden given scud missiles to fight the Russians. Then the neocon fabrication against Sadamn. The same Sadamn Rumsfeld gave weapons off mass destruction to fight of the Kurds, siding with Iran. The MKULTRA boys, re covering up another investigation, no different than covering up the Science of Ganja. 911 was not a wake up call, it was a sleeping pill. Look at all the sleep walkers we have now. Sedated to the point we don’t even need another 911 to herd the sheep. They just volunteer like the teabog dipshits and the corporatists perpetuating the Ganjawar for profits on tax dollars no one seems to mind. The Untied States of Anemica has gone down in infamy. RIP USA! Qaeda, ![]() Noam Chomsky: 9/11 and the Imperial Mentality A number of analysts have observed that although bin Laden was finally killed, he won some major successes in his war against the U.S. “He repeatedly asserted that the only way to drive the U.S. from the Muslim world and defeat its satraps was by drawing Americans into a series of small but expensive wars that would ultimately bankrupt them,” Eric Margolis writes. “‘Bleeding the U.S.,’ in his words.” The United States, first under George W. Bush and then Barack Obama, rushed right into bin Laden’s trap.. ![]() PATRIOT Ax Targeted Drug Offenders The Bush administration sold the PATRIOT Act’s expansion of law enforcement powers, including “sneak and peek” searches in which the target of the search is never notified that his home has been searched, as necessary to defend the citizens of the US from terrorist attacks, but that’s not how federal law enforcement has used its sweeping new powers. 9/11: A Murderous PR Stunt That Launched A Deadly Decade-Long Propaganda War Bush Cabal Hides Patriot II Police State in HR2417 It appears we are witnessing a stealth enactment of the enormously unpopular “Patriot II” legislation that was first leaked several months ago. Perhaps the national outcry when a draft of the Patriot II act was leaked has led its supporters to enact it one piece at a time in secret. Whatever the case, this is outrageous and unacceptable. I urge each of my colleagues to join me in rejecting this bill and its incredibly dangerous expansion of Federal police powers. ![]() Quote:

![]() Neocon Teabogs Really Are "Bloodlusting Terrorists" How Neo-Cons, Neo-Nazis And Neo-McVeighs Crashed Ron Paul’s Tea Party The Tea Party, which started off as a Libertarian protest against taxes and government, has turned into a right wing, corporate sponsored, racist hate-fest. Three groups have joined the Libertarian founders of the Tea Party movement to add money, racism, hatred and conspiracy theory based paranoia to the Tea Pot. Quote:

Same as Neo nazi's denialism about Jews...
I have no thoughts about it being a theory. I've followed the Ganjawar for 40 years. No doubt left. Neocons have no thoughts, period. Actually that's a pretty retarded statement. Same as Neo nazi's denialism. Appeasers are how they get away with it. That and buzzwords like "Conspiracy" Nope it can't happen here, can't happen here, can't happen here, can it happen here, can it happen here, can't happen here, it happened here? Al Qaeda did something with that $43 mil, in May of 2001. Hijacking planes as diversions and the rest is demolitions, drones and total media censorship. Typical as Ganja research censorship or previous police actions. When one finger points to a problem you may get away with buzzwords. When many fingers from many unrelated directions point to a problem no appeasers buzzwords or neocon diversions will cast any more doubt on any but the most obedient lapdogs. You know, teabogs and democrats. You think if you don't take things seriously they might go away? Or just what the party line tells you? Same as the GOPerverted Republicans. Obombo declared all past crimes erased and all past political criminals infallible. Like reefer madness, it only has to fool some of the people some of the time. But this Blind Denialism hiding in the sewage is really unbecoming of an American. Well not an American, what is the word I'm looking for? Lazy, naive, trusting, being a sucker, believing, biting, credulous, easily taken in, easy mark, falling hook line and sinker, foolish, green, innocent, kidding oneself, mark, silly, simple, sucker, susceptible, swallowing whole, taken in, taking the bait, trustful, tumbling for, unskeptical, unsophisticated, unsuspecting, wide-eyed? Now see if you can answer without the typical troll fashion of one line denialists mud castings. What in the world would make anyone believe in this totally corrupt system? What will it take to get the sheep to at least look around outside of their TV? This is pitiful to witness such weakness. Going along with whatever they spew. teabogs or Krat door mats. Just pitifools!
![]() Bush's Faustian Deal With the Taliban Published May 22, 2001 in the Los Angeles Times Enslave your girls and women, harbor anti-U.S. terrorists, destroy every vestige of civilization in your homeland, and the Bush administration will embrace you. All that matters is that you line up as an ally in the drug war, the only international cause that this nation still takes seriously. That's the message sent with the recent gift of $43 million to the Taliban rulers of Afghanistan, the most virulent anti-American violators of human rights in the world today. The gift, announced last Thursday by Secretary of State Colin Powell, in addition to other recent aid, makes the U.S. the main sponsor of the Taliban and rewards that "rogue regime" for declaring that opium growing is against the will of God. So, too, by the Taliban's estimation, are most human activities, but it's the ban on drugs that catches this administration's attention. ![]() A Few Buzzwords The Obama Administration demonstrates once again that it’s not interested in anti-war voters of any kind. SUBJECT: Guidance Regarding the Ogden Memo in Jurisdictions Seeking to Authorize Marijuana for Medical Use Prodding the beast: UNODC and Congress U.S prevents torture probes Gives Immunity to torturers Orders extra-judicial targeted killings – Where’s High Moral Grounds? A country founded on the idea that all people, not just Americans, have inalienable rights, including protection from cruel and inhumane punishment invokes state secret privilege at the behest of a president who pledged to restore America’s moral dignity as campaign rhetoric closed the courtroom door last Wednesday September 8 to CIA rendition and torture victims effectively providing complete immunity to the torturers. The Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment & Linx The United States government did something that was wrongdeeply, profoundly, morally wrong. It was an outrage to our commitment to integrity and equality for all our citizens. . . . clearly racist. ~ President Clinton's apology for the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment to the eight remaining survivors, May 16, 1997 ![]() The Counterculture Colonel US Supreme Court crushes campaign finance restrictions The Sadomoralist leading the Illiterate Drug war and terrorism war as excuses for expanded government surveillance The N.S.A.'s reliance on telecommunications companies is broader and deeper than ever before, according to government and industry officials, yet that alliance is strained by legal worries and the fear of public exposure. To detect narcotics trafficking, for example, the government has been collecting the phone records of thousands of Americans and others inside the United States who call people in Latin America, according to several government officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the program remains classified. What happened on 9/11 is a given fact.
Why it happened will be "in the gray" for decades.

Is it any surprise that DdC would fall into the bottom 25% of the population as far as intelligence goes.

Militarized Cops
A Decade After 9/11, Police Departments Are Increasingly Militarized – Radley Balko with a must-read piece in the Huffington Post.
The problem with this mingling of domestic policing with military operations is that the two institutions have starkly different missions. The military’s job is to annihilate a foreign enemy. Cops are charged with keeping the peace, and with protecting the constitutional rights of American citizens and residents. It’s dangerous to conflate the two. As former Reagan administration official Lawrence Korb once put it, “Soldiers are trained to vaporize, not Mirandize.” That distinction is why the U.S. passed the Posse Comitatus Act more than 130 years ago, a law that explicitly forbids the use of military troops in domestic policing. ![]() Who controls the police? In a free society it is critical to make sure that law enforcement is properly situated within the organizational structure and that it has strong and transparent systems of control. In order to combat crime, we cede extraordinary powers to law enforcement which, if abused, could lead to the destruction of our society. That makes it essential that systems exist to insure law enforcement entities are responsive to the people they serve. Asset forfeiture (particularly as it has expanded under the drug war) undermines the essential structure of a free society by weakening the fiscal authority of the employers (the people). We’ve already seen how this happens with police agencies shifting their allegiance to the federal government in order to bypass state law and get a big chunk of federal forfeiture dollars that they can control. Americans for Forfeiture Reform point out how bizarre this has come: What’s wrong with this story? Precinct 3 Commissioner John Roth [...] asked Sheriff Larry Fowler to use some of his forfeiture funds — from the seizure of cash and property — to rescue the fiscal year 2011-12 general fund, where commissioners seek $2 million in cuts.Wow. As Americans for Forfeiture Reform note: The fact that this council has to negotiate with armed men over how public money is spent makes a mockery of America’s founding principles. AFFR * FEAR Spoils of Drug War Forfeitures Prove Too Lucrative Seizures By Police Help Fund Drug War L.A. Forfeiture Squads Kill California Millionaire Cops Confiscation Maliciously Punished Amputee Rainbow Farm Massacre Tom Crosslin - Nov. 10, 1954 - Sept. 3, 2001 Rollie Rohm - Dec. 27, 1972 - Sept. 4, 2001 "Our friends worked boldly and passionately to change destructive, unjust laws and to inspire same; and in the end they rejected the authority of a court that had amply shown its bias. They refused to hide. They refused to run. They refused to bow down. And for that, the Police State ground them up in its gears." ![]() Our cities have turned into jungles And corruption is stranglin' the land The police force is watching the people And the people just can't understand We don't know how to mind our own business 'Cause the whole worlds got to be just like us Now we are fighting a war over there No matter who's the winner We can't pay the cost 'Cause there's a monster on the loose It's got our heads into a noose And it just sits there watching

anyone else aware that the owner of WTC buildings heavily insured it weeks before it was destroyed, specifically for terrorist and likeminded attacks? and that the buildings were plagued with asbestos? and that the insurance settlement thereafter amounted to several billion dollars?
