Tax Wasting Republicans
Quote:
"All propaganda must be so popular and on such an intellectual level, that even the most stupid of those towards whom it is directed will understand it. Therefore, the intellectual level of the propaganda must be lower the larger the number of people who are to be influenced by it." ~ Benito Mussolini, "London Sunday Express," December 8, 1935 Quote:
The death penalty in California costs the state almost $200 million California has rarely executed convicts since the death penalty was reinstated there in 1978, but the state has managed to spend $4 billion taxpayer dollars on capital punishment since then, according to a new cost analysis. Capital Punishment: Deterrent Effects & Capital Costs Capital punishment stirs up fierce debate in the United States. In this essay, Professor Jeff Fagan questions research that supports the long-accepted view of the deterrent effect of capital punishment. States must also come to terms with the fact that each execution can cost between $2.5 million to $5 million, he writes, and ask themselves whether that money can be put to better law enforcement uses. ![]() Cost - New Jerseyans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty A 2005 report by New Jersey Policy Perspective revealed that New Jersey has spent $253 million on a death penalty system that has executed no one. Another reason NY shouldn't bring back the death penalty An Economic Argument to End the Death Penalty? COST - Montana Abolition Coalition | Ending the Death Penalty Cost - Equal Justice USA Death penalty costs California more than $300m per execution Jun 20, 2011 The full burden of the death penalty in California has been laid bare by new research that calculates that each of the 13 prisoners executed in the state over the past three decades has cost more than $300m (£185m). The study, by two senior legal figures, includes costs incurred at both state and federal level in keeping 714 death row inmates incarcerated as well as steering them through the tortuous judicial process all the way to the death chamber. Pawn Rauls Spawn... Protecting Vested Ignorance
Are we the people naive or just stupid? These wingnuts are living in fantasy land. If you truly believe the corporations killing workers and bystanders from pipe lines or coal mines, causing the regulations. Would be better regulating themselves. The Banksters are better off regulating themselves. Those exploiting foreign countries outsourcing American jobs are ok without checks and balances or oversight. tsk tsk tsk. Pisstaste those on welfare but not Goldman Sucks? Fuck individual Americans, the international corporations have first dibs on birthrights. Free Speech for bricks and dead tree buildings while they pepper spray American kids for speaking freely against the Wallmart St moneysluts. Pretty cheap and selfish, selling out America because someone promises they won't bust you for heroin. The right to profit on pollution, explosions and cave ins. Wars and Sickness Business. No thanks. Maybe when they stop being more concerned with international corporate interests Liberty than individual Americans Liberty. Neo-libertards?
![]() Rand Paul Takes Brave, Lonely Pro-Explosion Stance On Gas Pipelines Hm, let’s see, what normal, boring, uncontroversial public safety measure can some branch of the Paul family tree make hilarious through his comical lone opposition to “people not being incinerated in fiery explosions all the time?” Rand Paul Opposes Pipeline Safety Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who opposes federal regulation on philosophical grounds, is single-handedly blocking legislation that would strengthen safety rules for oil and gas pipelines. The pipeline industry and companies in his own state support the bill. A gas pipeline rupture last week was felt in three counties in Kentucky. Paul won't discuss why he's the only senator putting a hold on the legislation, AP reports. Death toll could rise in gas pipe explosion] List of pipeline accidents ![]() San Bruno, California, gas pipe explosion and fire What was safe work practices and safety standards is now sold as wasted taxes. Same misguided delusions as putting someone in prison, rather than giving foodstamps to prevent them from having to steal. Cages cost a lot more than raising minimum wages. Bailing out banks or funding police actions protecting wall st is a waste of taxes. Tax the wealthy and leave the nurses, teachers and poor alone. Rand Paul no more than a common rich brat bully. Like teaching racism generation after generation. Rand Paul is a product of his daddy's teachings. No thanks. * Gas Pipe Explosion Kills at Least 13 in Nanjing, China

damn. This might actually turn into something...
I might take the train up into the city this weekend to check it out. Whether it will accomplish anything or not doesnt really matter puffman. You never get shit done on the first try, usually not the second or third either. What matters is that the attitude is there. The people really want things to change. Now we just have to figure out how to make it happen. But yeah now i think im gonna go up there and check it out. Ill let you guys know what the vibe is like.

How can we get the police on our side i think is the next question we should ask.
They are getting boned by the corps just like us, but they have to do their job and right now the protesters are making their job a pain in the ass. How can we appeal to the police? Edit: also, from my experience, NYC cops are generally pretty good compared to other places ive been. Especially after 9/11, those guys really seem to care about the area and people they are sworn to protect. IMO.

Obviously idiots will be manipulated by the wealthy if a revolution ever did happen. Yep, he'll just be told that the revolutionists were in fact terrorist who wanted to take YOUR money not theirs. Then see how quickly types like him turn on his brothers.
Just saying
