Spanking may not be a big deal if the parent isn't doing it to be vindictive, but in my opinion it is pretty goddamned lazy parenting.

It was scary the feelings that swept over my body as I watched that....
It's funny how after years gone... those memories aren't that far under the surface.
When I was 16 and that stuff was still happening, that was around the time I started fighting back, which of course didn't help....
But man..... that shit sounded sooo familiar in tone...
