this seems like a rare mistake from ms clinton.

lets just think about it for a second.

why would she criticize the russian elections? Ok maybe because there was fraud...thats fair...and probably true.

but what have Us-Russian relations been for the last 5 or more years?

both sides disagree about some things, and agree about others, and neither can live without the other, and both are better when the cooperate and dont try to fuck each other and cut each others throats.

So russia might be a little hard handed sometimes, in chechnya, or wherever else... guess what? the soviet union was even more hard handed and we couldnt fucking beat them until they decided to beat themselves...


So , for a smart, borderline genius person like hillary...what was she thinking?

She had to have known that the minute she talked about the russian elections being neither "free nor fair" - that two things would happen.

1. she would stick a huge plank in putins eye
2. nothing, absolutely nothing, would be acomplished in terms of overthrowing the putin regime.


so what the fuck? it was literally retarded to do-

did she think putin and his thugs wouldnt notice? and only the protesters who she wanted to send her little liberal hippy feel good messages to would?

this is the real world. you see that you can or cant do something, and you act based on that understanding...

....

now what gets to me even more, is that russia and the us, for the past few years, have been getting along alright- I don't think too many people complain about whats going on - sure russia gets away with some shit that we might not like, and frankly, we get away with shit they dont like... but if we both agree to speak nicely and not slit each others throats, like we had since the "reset"....good things can happen, and they dont veto UN resolutions against iran...etc etc.... there are lots of good results from just talking nice to each other even tho we both know we're bulshitting the other side.


So can someone tell me why she would do that? If not to send some thrill up liberals legs that she is "pushing american values"...which in the modern world should be more about getting your message out on the internet and other things like that, rather than going on tv old school style and talking about how bad putin is.... there are smart ways to do that whole "support democracy in russia" shtick... this , it seems to me, was NOT ONE OF THEM.

What I think is funny is she has the balls to call out other countries for cracking down on protestors while protestors in her own country are getting maced for doing nothing but sitting down.
