The SOPA Boycott List (they want internet censorship)

The House Judiciary Committee has released a list of organizations and companies that support the proposed internet censorship bill (SOPA). How convenient.
Here is the list of the 142 organizations on record as supporting SOPA. Some aren’t businesses but some are, so remember, every dollar you spend is a vote for the company you buy from.

So lets vote no with our money. Here is an interesting thread of someone doing that: Fuck you go-daddy

Domain registrar Go Daddy lost over 21,000 domains yesterday. It could be a coincidence--or it could be the result of the company's p.r. debacle over its support for the Stop Online Piracy Act.

I'm not too worried.

The internet is outside of the law. They can try to bring it in all they want but it wont work. It will be a failure on the same scale as the drug war.

Plus, the us doesn't have jurisdiction anywhere but the us. Maybe the places they invade and occupy.

Once it is on the internet, it is there forever. No act of legislation can take that away. It will be just fine. This law wont change anything in practice.

There are many ways around the Chinese firewall and probably the others, but I don't follow those.

The internet can't be regulated.

They should have thought of this before releasing it into the wild.

Use your brain and stop making simple things so fucking hard. Obviously you can't boycott everyone on that list. Just do the best you can, dur.

Pfizer has us by the balls.

We need medication, we can do without go daddy.

Which is the logical choice to boycott?

See here's the thing, separately these companies may be nothing to fear on their own but as they ally, they put the fear of Big Brother into the sheep among us (and that's a lot) and that's when the fun begins...

And here is my point to a T.

Pfizer has us by the balls?

90% of the 'medication' we so desperately need has side effects twice as damaging as the disease. Turn off the TV and go outside for awhile and see how tight the grip on our balls is. Sunshine and movement do wonders for the human body.

BUT!

Not according to the 'box of doom' in the corner.
