these are peer reviewed medical journals. there is information of what things to take to help reduce intake or rid your self of radiation. different isotopes.

plutonium which has a half life of 24k years has been released and people have been in the fallout. there are no safe levels of this. apparently it magnifies the effect of radiation you get from other sources. hot particles are discussed in general so is radiation.

Plutonium-239. Other isotopes have different half lives. P-244 has a HL of like 70 or 80 million years. That's important.

Also, it doesn't enhance other radiation. The alpha particle (helium nucleus) that it releases during decay is plenty dangerous though.
