I'm just rubbed the wrong way by you saying you WANT the US to collapse Don. As if our current fascistic, neo-imperialist clusterfuck of a government couldn't be changed, which is a bullshit view.
Sure it will take a lot of work and the government has much to answer for but for you to say "I hope they crash and burn" kind of fucking pisses me off since that means you're ok with the millions of terrible deaths that will inevitably result. For a 'humanist' your posts seem to blatantly disregard human life..

Millions of people is a completely undfounded hyperbole isn't it? Human suffering is never a thing I would wish for. You have to realise I look at it from a really broad perspective. Like a historical perspective. You don't think America crashing would have a huuuuge impact on myself? I'm completely unskilled, and right now I'm living off government money. I don't really want Americans as humans to suffer, but as an empire I wouldn't mind it all that much. If we could facilitate that without suffering, I would be all for it. If I was a real hardass, I would say that the American apathy towards what the fuck it is you people are doing entitles you to some serious hardship. But I won't. I recognize the situation is bigger than that, and the political system in your country is a mammoth.

And thanks for your well put replies man. Oh and I wouldn't mind Europe taking the same kind of fall. Europe as an institution, and individual countries are just as intrusive and peverse in their meddling with others.

Nothing I love more than when even the Fabians at MSNBC can't ignore it anymore, and they have to run a story about another socialist epic fail. Read this article and substitute U.S., Italy, France, England, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, any one that you want, it still reads the same - and nearly just as true.
World Blog - In Greece, the crisis is making people ill (literally) The really interesting question is toward the end when they actually stop to contemplate that as bad as things are already on the street... they are about to get a whole lot fucking worse. Wonder what'll happen when the cops don't get paid or can't afford a $20 gallon of gas to get to work? Letter to America: watch closely to what happens when you try to give too much shit away for too long, and hire everybody to a non-producing government job. Such is the ultimate plight of the vampire squid.
