That its a Blackman religion - KITCH - it's not king james religion or that of the master. Slavery ended 160 years ago year many black people are still enslaved with the masters religion that was forced onto us thru 3 hundred years of slavery. I'm not a slave no need to follow masters religion either.

Is that simple answer good enough for you or should we start a another thread on this topic?

It's kind of ironic that rastafarianism spawned out of the master's religion and wouldn't exist without it.

Its actually more closely related to Coptic Christianity and old school Judaism than any kind of American protestantism. Interestingly a big part of the belief set is that the lost tribe of Israel ended up in Ethiopia which has been confirmed with genetics.

I believe NJ's referring to the White Man's Burden, not just American Protestantism.

That's actually not how Christianity spread throughout the world.... Ethiopians (Since we discussing Rastafari/Christianity) would have been Christian hundreds of years before the 'master' would have even heard about Christianity.

East Africa's history is rich and deep.

What kitch said about Judaism and Orthodox Christianity is basically bang on,
I'd add that maybe there is a sprinkling of Indian Religion, as Indians have had cultural influence because of their presence in the Caribbean as well.

And sure... there is the more traditional African earthbased traditions as well,
as Africans from those parts of Africa are also present.

But make no mistake.... East Africa has had a huge Christian population since the beginning....

So the way I see it.... the 'Masters' actually took the 'Slave' religion,
albeit a long diverted, and tangled road, that brought it to Northern Europe.

I actually had no idea this talk was going on, when I posted a Rastamentary, in the Higher Thoughts forum.

The correct term is 'appropriated'....

Which is to take and make your own, without cultural credit.

IE. Some people being outraged when you mention Jesus was a Jew, and not a white man

KITCH - your a non-entity and just not intelligent enough to understand what i do & WTF are you talking about FOOL when you keep saying election FRAUD! There was no such allegation of any fraud I explained to you earlier in this thread that i refused to fill out the "election paperwork" based on 5th amendment protections. ( Do u know what the 5th amendment says?) - There is nothing the election commission can do about it either, issue a few uncollectable fines - they can get in line!

THIS IMAGE WAS POSTED ON MANY NJ FACEBOOK PAGES ON 4/21 before the Gov went on the air and guess what happened KITCH!

CLICK ON THIS IMAGE KITCH

Whether you like my methods or not you non-entity Im effective LOL look what I did to the Gov! -- Chris Christie on Legalizing Marijuana in New Jersey -- ( The Gov was reacting to the frontpage articles about this protest, he was being peppered by my followers who call his show everytime he's on. On 4/21 he reacted to us and caused another scandal - lol. ( what have you done for the movement KITCH? )

BTW KITCH -- i know your not intelligent enough to understand my tactics, but they were HUGELY SUCCESSFUL not only did this generate national discussions because of how our GOV reacted to this protest but in some communities like DALLAS the image that I used also created local controversy and marijuana legalization conversation - Photo of a pothead and his 4/20 cross on Easter was offensive | Dallas Morning News

---

I doubt you know or understand how media works but I just got another national COU - THE ASSOCIATED PRESS COVERED MY PROTEST AND OVER 500 PUBLICATIONS NATION WIDE PICKED IT UP - 6 of the associated Press's 18 pictures of 4/20 were of my protest in TRENTON, NJ ---- LOL ----

KITCH you non-entity

KITCH - OVER 500 publications picked up the Associated Press's coverage of 4/20 in Trenton NJ, mainly because of the image of the CANNABIS CROSS and TV stations across the nation carried NBC's NJ coverage!

I agree with most of what you say but do you realize "MOST" blacks in America didnt come from EAST AFRICA? We are from the Gold coast of west Africa - I actually had a DNA Genetic Orgin test a few years ago and my family is traced back to a area just east of LIBERIA. -- THE BALANTA TRIBE - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balanta_people

I agree with what you say as well, especially if we were speaking about west Africa,
but I was addressing East Africa, as it relates to the history Christianity and the Rastafari movement.

Seen?
