2016 USA Election Thread

Watching O'Malley's announcement right now. He's outlining his platform, seems mostly geared towards traditional base. Stagnant/declining wages, Wall Street corruption, renewable resources, immigration reform, reinstate glass stegal, break up banks, called out Goldman Sachs and bush/Clinton in one statement (nice) His wife is hot, his daughter is totally hot.

Great point was that the potential gains from renewable energy in terms of jobs is huge.

Bretty gud speech.

Really interested at who else in the dem party is waiting in the wings.

Seems like a good guy, based on the very little I know of him.

Carcetti is running for president? I wonder how big that bowl of shit is gonna be.

Sage Tree 05-30-2015 11:26 AM

I've actually been surprised to find myself agreeing with some of what Rand Paul has to say.... or at least in approval of the stuff he's been speaking up about.

fenderbender 05-30-2015 12:16 PM

Where is galt? Lol

kitch 05-30-2015 12:19 PM

I think I pissed him off by demanding citations for his outlandish claims.

They're all dirty. Hilary can't keep her email straight, the only thing that appeals to me about her is her husband's experience. Rand's a plagiarist meanwhile I'd get kicked out of school and lose my job if I rip off someone else's intellectual property. I could never bring myself to willingly support the Bush dynasty at the polls. I'm particularly skeeved about politics at the moment coz Hastert's a pedo and he was two heartbeats away from the presidency. Please forgive my doom and gloom attitude.

I'm at a point where I am very skeptical of our political order in general and might even throw away my vote on some unknown write-in third party candidate if he/she/it seems like it has any fucking decency coz I don't see it coming out of the traditional two party system. We're not going to come up with anything better anytime soon I don't think. It's probably just a phase, tho, I'm sure I'll shake off my funk.

Here we go again. When the well-crafted words of confirmed liars divide a gullible nation once more. I can't believe, after 228 years, we're still falling for this.

He'll lead the USA back to it's former glory, and he'll do it shirtless, riding a Grizzly bear.

Did he inhale?

Would he have went to Iraq, knowing what we know now?

This is basically all I fucking care about this election.

I really like this website for the political views of a candidate.
Martin O`Malley on the Issues

Martin O'Malley seems fine, on the surface.

But after the recent riots in Baltimore and he was Mayor of Baltimore (that shit doesn't happen overnight), I wonder about that.

Also, I'm not hearing from him what I think is the most important issue, which is to get money out of politics.

mothernature 05-30-2015 02:24 PM

Oh yeah, Rand Paul is an idiot.

Tell me more about the gum drop rivers and chocolate sky scrapers, Bro.

Which is what makes it scary that I am liking what he's speaking up about....
OR maybe it's just because it so radical from the 'side' he is coming from.
He is going to make the GOP talk about stuff they don't want to talk about.

Canuck Wisdom 05-30-2015 03:17 PM

Is rand paul ron pauls son?

Sage Tree 05-30-2015 03:20 PM

Sage Tree 05-30-2015 03:22 PM

They only let him out of the home for short intervals. Security issues.
