Clinton vs. Trump

Who would you vote for and why?

And why

Personally both Trump and Carson scare the shit out of me. Clinton would be more of the same, but honestly, in this hypothetical (and likely) scenario, more of the same (Clinton) seems like the better choice to me. Maybe someone can convince more of a more hopeful (and plausible) alternative.

Sanders seems pretty good, but I am very skeptical about his win in the primaries.

Neither. For obvious reasons.

I wouldnt vote for either at this point. I'd vote, but just like a "no confidence" or something.

Sanders would have the presidency no doubt at all, IF the media gave him the proper attention.

Maybe this sort of notion is part of the problem, but the assumption here is that these two win the nominations.

I'm just curious because I see a lot of anti clinton stuff, which I get, but my gut still says she would be better than trump.

Clinton. Decent progressive views.

Trump only looks out for himself. It's scary he has a chance. Prior bankruptcies and shady business.

Sanders has some cool ideas but I edpect democracy in the Mid East before we get socialism.

Dont feed the stupid carl.

We are already largely a socialist country. Schools, military, infrastructure, social security, etc. Bernie just wants to add healthcare to that list basically.

Remember when i said the media will kill his chances? Case in point.

I'm voting for Sanders, but if he loses, I'm going with Clinton. I'd vote Jill Stein over Clinton, but I don't want to waste my vote. A vote for Stein, at this point, is like a vote for Trump or whoever asswipe the GOP puts up there.

Trump is a joke. Carson is even wackier. All the GOP candidates are out in la-la land. The whole Republican party is just about finished. Good riddance.

As far as why...it's because I think we all deserve health care. I think that privatizing Social Security is a ploy to steal my (your) money. Corporations are not people. Citizens United needs to be overturned. Leaving your kid 10 million is enough. We don't need more laws to protect the rich, who made their fortunes off the backs of the workers. You can't run a country like a business.

Clinton wants a no fly zone in Syria, calls Iran our enemy, has promised her friend bibi unconditional loyalty and wants to confront nuclear armed Russia. She also pushed for the invasion of Libya and when qaddafi was sodomized with a bayonet on the street by one of those democracy loving "rebels", she said: "We came, we saw, he died". Wonderful statesperson. Voting for her is more than a waste of a vote it's like selling your soul to the devil(if there were such a thing, soul or devil).

Of the two, Clinton.

Definitely the resume candidate, being in government for 30 years from Senator to Sec of State.

I prefer her measured approach to Trump's bombastic nature. Yea his shit's entertaining now, but there's clearly a lack of forethought which just can't happen at the upper levels of government.

Trump makes me nervous, some of the others scare me.

They (the press, the 'opposition', etc.) keep drilling (only trying, in my case) into everyones heads that Trump is an amature, he's not a poli, he wouldnt be able to get anything done. Well, they are all (so called) professionals, and they are sure as hell NOT getting anything done. Trump would, at least, have an excuse.

No one in NY had any idea why Clinton was running for our senate when she did. Everyone knew it was a stepping roll.

Fuck career politicians just like career ceos and anyone that just hops around for status. I mean yeah good for them but they ain't doing shit for anyone in the meantime.

Fender. Americans are too scared of socialism to let it happen anytime soon. I wouldn't mind it. Free healthcare would be quite nice.

His point was that the US already got a New Deal (half socialist). Its just that the term itself is a bad word in 'merica.

I'm not convinced the RNC will allow Trump to win the nomination...His act is wearing thin and i've never seen a serious candidate with such little substance. Women won't vote for him in a national election, the powers-that-be in the Republican Party know this. Look for a Rubio surge (in donations) since Jeb is all but finished.

Sanders was a blip because he was the only alternative, but he's ultimately unelectable and lacks support from black liberals and the anti-war left who torpedoed Hillary in 2008

I dunno, it'll be an interesting democratic primary to see where Bernie's marijuana reform bill will land with the younger crowd. Hell, it worked for Trudeau.

But probably yes I believe Hillary will most likely finally get the shot she's been spending and waiting for, many decades from her original plan.

Trump will fall, probably to Carson in the initial primaries, but the more establishment candidates will ramp up their campaigns at that time to push him out when the real determining primaries play out.

Imo
