we cant keep going on like this. we cant keep pumping oil and clear cutting forests and poisoning the earth and the air and water and murdering and torturing and enslaving and imprisoning people so that some fat corporation owners can get richer and richer.

im asking every yahookan to help stop this.
im asking every yahookan to boycott brand america.
im asking every yahookan to recycle, reduce, reuse.
im asking every yahookan to think globaly and act locally.
im asking every yahookan to spread love, not hate.
im asking every yahookan to speak up about this to your family and friends and people at your school and at your work, and on the internet.

Nice to see at least there are some people who are willing to be chastized for their positions. I worry not about other peoples opinions when it comes to issues I feel passionate about. ( I can be proven wrong though

) However fellas, the issues that are brought up here are seriously valid and warrent consideration. For the comment to not worry because you will be dead before anything bad happens, you obviously don't see the larger picture. Those who care do something because first, they want an end to the suffering, and second, they work hard to ensure a better future for our childeren to inherit. do you just want to hand over these issues to the future generations for them to solve? something must be done.

Humans are very stupid as a whole, but we're not stupid enough to to put ourselves in a position that we can't get out of. As soon as the increase in CO2 and the clearcutting of forests and burning of fossil fuels begins to catch up with us to the point where we actually notice it, things will be done. Once it starts affecting the "fat corporate assholes" directly, they will be forced to do something about it. If the fire's burning you, you're not going to put more wood on it, right? We obviously have the technology, something will be done about it once it becomes more of a pressing issue. No one wants to go out of their way to do something they dont have to, so we'll just wait until they do. If you think that the human race is fucked, you're underestimating the advantage that we have over other animals in that we can solve problems. Quit sending the wrong message.

^^^ sorry dude but um humans are already trying to fuck around with the weather and carbon levels...small particles of aluminum and barium are sprayed into the upper leves of the atmosphere...this infect limits the ammount of sunlight getting in...youd think this would reduce global warming...excfept it doesnt...by reducing the ammount of light coming in you automatically reduce the ammount of Co2 that plants can take in....if you loook at nasa's space immagry that measures polution you would see that HUMANS are moving large ammounts of carbon in the atmosphere to places like the amazon...gand guess what the amazon is deing off because there is 3 times the ammount of carbon in the atmosphere around it then the plant life can process...HAARP. READ UP ON ALL OF ITS USES AND AFFECTS ON THE ATMOSPHERE.

Actually no. There's a point where global warming will begin to fuel itself and we'll be fucked no matter what we do. As the tundra melts, frozen organic material will begin to rot, releasing methane. Methane is a way fucking worse greenhouse gas then CO2, so the methane released will be enough to fuel the continuing melting of the permafrost, which will supply the methane. And fuck the average global temp increase, it's actually going down in some places and one of the most affected by increase is the arctic, so "global increase of 5 degrees over the next 10 years" could mean 15 degrees for some areas, which as laid out above can be very fucking bad.

I guess I wasn't in on that^, but I'll reiterate. You're one of the few people who has actually noticed apparently. Once again, when it begins to affect us to the point that we can't go about our daily lives without being interrupted by it, something will be done. The more of an issue it becomes, the more intellectuals around the world will be working to solve the problem. As it is, it hasn't had an effect that interrupts our daily lives, so no one cares about it. Luckily, we have our whole lives to figure out who's really right. I refuse to believe that the only intelligent life we know of (us) is going to go extinct. We are problem solvers. If generic rain goes up to 11 on the pH scale, are we going to continue driving our cars around? Hell no. Don't assume that we're so stupid as to just keep pushing our current lives if we're harming ourselves. When the fat corporate assholes realize that the rain is turning their roof into swiss cheese, something will be done.

and woods if you look at the middle parts of alaska, yukon,NWT Nunavut... during the winter its actually warmer in the middle parts then it is south of them....last winter there were numerous periods where alaska and yukon and nwt were a good 3-5 c warmer then down here in toronto...thats NOT natural...
