New to Baton Rouge, LA.

Hi,

I moved to Baton Rouge, from Eugene, Oregon, and I hope there are some people here from the area, because I'm suffering from serious culture shock. I'm used to hippies, abundant weed, and progressive politics, and... Baton Rouge isn't really about that from what I can see.

My wife and I are here for work, and although I dig the food and music, and (of course) New Orleans... I haven't found any cool people that I would call friends. So, just putting it out there.

all i know about the scene in LA is that they have the highest number of complaints filed against cops in the nation,oh I mean pigs he h ehe

I'm not surprised. It's a way different vibe than herb friendly Eugene.

Thanks, Mikey! This place has already put a smile on my face. Just being able to say I LOVE WEED is fantastic. Once I find a hookup here all my bitching will cease. I really appreciate the kind words. :-)
