Headin to Vancouver

I posted this in the q and a forum but no one responded so I figured I'd try here. My girlfriend and I are heading on a cruise to Alaska for a while and it leaves from Vancouver. We are staying in Vancouver for a few days before the cruise leaves. Obviously, I don't want to miss my opportunity to sample some of that Bc dank. What places should I visit while I'm up there. I here there's a few small sections of the city where there are quite a few headshops and weed is sold pretty openly, but I could be mistaken. Since, I don't want to risk smuggling weed through customs back to the states or on the ship, I was wondering if you guys knew of any decent headshops I should check out so I can pick up some glass as a souvenir. Thanks

Check out Gastown. It's an area of Vancouver that is home to the "Green Zone." This consists of smoke-friendly cafes, headshops & a marijuana book store. Two shops by name are The New Amsterdam & The Blunt Brothers. Located, conveniently, next door to one another. I believe they are in the 300 block of W. Hastings.
Just a tip, it's not the best part of town, so leave the valuables behind.
