Me and two other friends have been planning a trip to vancouver for the past couple of months. We just booked the hotel last night. There are two Amsterdamn style cannabis cafes in downtown vancouver. Thats why we were going. So I'm looking at one of there websites today www.bluntbros.com when I noticed you had to be 19 to get in. All of us just passed our 18th birthday. How much does that suck? I figured it would be 18 like in Amsterdamn. No sir.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUck !!!!!!!

FatGuySmokes,
Thats a super-sized suck im sorry i dont have any specific good cheap vacation ideas, but if i can put your mind at ease you'll have a better time doing whatever it is you end up doing. i just want to tell you, ive been to blunt bros. a few times, and by not going there you wont be missing some vital experience. its just a cafe with an uncomfortable little glassed in section at the back. all the chairs are uncomfortable and there is this chinese guy there who is reading a newspaper and smiling at you. Its not that cool of a cafe, in my opinion. oh man i am stoned. anyway i think going camping anywhere would be cheaper and better than hanging around Hastings street. i hope this helps

Go camping in BC.
Have you been to BC? It's fucking unbelievable wilderness. There's a hippy place on the West Coast of Vancouver Island called Tofino. It's in temperate rainforest & it's in BC! So there's good bud. BC rules.

vancouver is plenty of fun & the cafes have little to do with it.
$50usd for a 1/4 fresh out of a prime growhouse.. best shit youll see without goin to holland or australia. walk the streets after 4pm.. pay attention to the people with backpacks who mutter 'nugs' under their breath as they walk by.

Vancouver is an awesome place...definitely had a lot of fun there...but since you're thinking about a trip in maine, i'm guessing you're more from the east coast...i went to niagara falls w/ one of my friends..it was a great time...i'm from dc so we made a 4 day trip out of it...spend a night in PA, two in niagara (casino with excellent exchange rate, great strip clubs, and of course, the falls, and the butterfly sanctuary, but we did itin april, which is technically the off-season...now it's probably a tourist trap) and one in NY. the drive from dc to niagara was about 6-7 hours w/ stops and windy roads, but it was beautiful country. go to the eastern shore of Va or assateague/chincoteage islands in md. Maine is an awesome place to but it is a LONG FUCKING DRIVE to get there (at least from DC). If you're from the midwest area, i highly recommend grand tetons, beautiful out there....if you are relatively close to utah, check out zion and bryce. bryce is much cooler than the grand canyon. good luck road trippin'.
