Nothing is wrong with this. YOu know you better than anyone else. And if you think that this is the case when using marijuana or pringles or anything else that is your call to make.

It's your life, live it how you want. Sorry to hear that you broke a promise with yourself, but if you did it once, you can do it again. Just don't get too down on yourself, we have to make mistakes to learn.

I read somewhere that it's actually uncommon for "addicts" NOT to relapse.

Good luck with it man... I just found out today that I may have very very early COPD and may have to just up and quit smoking everything, completely...

gay.

MJ addiction is possible, its just a mental addiction rather than a physical addiction.

sorry you broke your promise dude, I respect anyone trying to quit.
relapse will happen and its okay, the best thing about a relapse is that you learn from your mistake. think about the conditions you were under at the time and avoid the same conditions.

Congrats on getting to 62 days and 100+ with alcohol. It can be very life-changing, both immedietely and over time. Don't let a relapse get you down. Just learn from it and move on

Stateofkane, some people just have to live in a state of confusion. There addicted to the "drama" of life, so to speak. or some have to justify a sense of guilt about something in there past.while others use there addiction to whatever for the attention, or to fit in to whatever there trying to fit into. I believe were ALL addicts to something, you just need to find something else to get addicted too. And lastly, were only addicted as long as we want to be. Peace

I ragged on you a bunch in your other thread for the fact that you made it seem like pot was really hard to quit and gave you actual WDs.

I quit smoking for financial reasons and mental health reason financial at the time was i had better drugs to spend my money. But when i smoked i never felt like my self so thats a good reason to quit.

I didnt actually quit like this kid ill still smoke once or twice a month just like i found a median with pills cause of my suboxone. And I went a whole week with out drinking.

Yeah smoking weed all the time isn't even enjoyable once you take a legitimate break. It's a poor way to go through life.

There is no black and white when it comes to addiction. If you get used to doing something every day, and it's the only thing to look forward to due to dropping out of life, then it's going to be hard to give up.

Now I'm doing something. It's a start. I'm going to school fulltime and doing well. My next goal is to get a part time job to supplement this. Baby steps.

God life really sucks.
I'm sorry to hear you feel that sucks. But I think it's always about the middle way. And it sounds like you are still on the good side of the 'line' for meeting your goals?

Hope you can take steps in finding the small acheivements as well.

Much love
Sage

A monk who does not despise what he has received, even though it be little, who is pure in livelihood and unremitting in effort — him even the gods praise.
