Methadone
Some of you might remember when i took i whooping 30mg plus so booze and ended up in the hospital.
Some also might remember me saying i took 12 wafers trying to kill my self. That was a lie cuz i never planned on coming back here. Some of you even said it was a good idea that i was gonna die which IRL did hurt my feelings.. But back to the topic ive been a junkie for the last 7 years only 24 now so its been along run ive tried everything to stop suboxone rapid detox 2 stints in rehab yrs ago. Last month when i tried getting into 1 then said i wasnt bad enough which pissed me off cuz anybody with half a brain and not half blind who saw my arms new i was in desperate need of help. Since then ive been doing a little better not using boy as much but still slammin OCs pretty much daily and even going as low as booting subs when i was flat broke. Anyways today i went for a walk with my dad and confessed to him that i was still shooting up and that suboxone doesnt take away my cravings and he seemed ok with the a MMT and to my suprise my mom wasnt pissed but doesnt totally agree cuz my first incident. I was just wondering though who has been on it and what there experience was like. i dont plan on being a lifer that is the last thing me and my parents want.s

My friend has had a problem with prescription opiates and a little H.
He is on suboxone now and for the past few years. It has REALLY helped him a lot. I'm sorry that it hasn't taken a hold for you. I his opinion, methadone is more up and down for the buzz and actually makes people more likely to shoot up in the low spots. Suboxone is a sustained high throughout the day, from how I understand it. He also has regular counseling visits which helps deal with some of the cravings issues. I'm sorry your feeling were hurt man and I wish I could take away some of your pain here. I wish the best for you and getting back where you feel you want to be. Baby steps man, the glacier moves slowly. All the power and strength to you, SageTree

done is a strange one...i think i did more of elilis's done than he did but it is kinda off and on.
It helps but it dint work for me. It took the mother of my child and my kid almost dieing for me to get away from the ugly ass heroin dealer i ran off with and get off the sauce. Like we have talked about though, any attempt to quit is valid in my book and it does work for some people. What really helps is slowly weaning off the opiates be it done or sub and having family support. Support is HUGE. U cant have people ripping on u or anything like that, basically u have to avoid all the things that u are used to doing, break all your old habits and get super far away from anybody who is still using. Try to stay positive, believe in yourself, accept the fact u still want to use but fight that shit with everything u have. you always have my support mang, always. So if u ever need to talk pm me or post on my profile. I am here daily so...it might take me a few hours to respond but i will always b here. Also, like we talked about....lyrica....h elps....a lot i have found...almost better than the done. I took like 600mg-800mg for about two weeks coming off the sauce. I dint use done though i just slowly ramped down my heroin use with stolen heroin. i believe in u dezzy. Love ya man, fight that shit bro.

run away from the done like the plague.
get your ass some subuxone, like now... your habit doesnt seem that bad, you can probably kick with about 4 8mg subs over a 5 day period or so without too much trouble.... its when you go on one of those epic runs where you're spending 300$ a day when its REALLY REALLY hard to get rid of the physical addiction, even w/ subs... BTW, stay away from long term sub maintenence. Really its just an all around bad idea and IMO is no better then long term methadone 'maintenence'. It's like holding onto the outer ledge of a hot air baloon... the longer you keep holdin on, the more its gonna be when you eventually have to let go (could easily jail or death)
