Hey, I forgot this part of the forum existed.

I've been clean for about 10 months now.. I've been going to NA the whole time, which is the only thing that has ever worked for me, and for a lot of people I know...

So yeah man, it's cool not having to constantly chase that next one...

Just wanted to say what's up and maybe give some hope that If a junkie like me can stay clean for this long, ya'll can too.

i envy you homie ive tried and tried a get good then something goes wrong and the process restarts i need to find better girls to be with cuz they are all beutiful yet junkies and my and my ex that i am in love with still were working things out then i met one of the most beutiful girls i have ever met that is a junkie and we got high a cple times and some shit that was wonderful at the time happened and now my life is ruined at the momentl. The ex my reason to get clean which is dumb but true i always find a way to fuck good things up

Man, I feel you dezzy. everytime I tried to get clean for a girl or someone else I usually couldn't make it through a few hours, much less a day. When I finally got truly tired of the way I was living, I decided to do it for myself, and became willing to do whatever it took to make it through a day clean... And there are a lot of different ways to do it. But going to meetings and taking their suggestions is what has worked for me. You can get clean and stay clean.. And it does suck sometimes, especially in the beginning... But it's simple, hard but simple. And for me, even though life still has it's ups and downs, things have gotten better overall.

Word up to recovery. I have 60 days Wednesday this week. If you knew me a few months ago, you would literally shit your pants over this. I mean you would be surprised that I'm alive, never mind 60 days clean. Nothing short of a radical shift in conciousness got me here thanks to the people in the rooms...

Btw NA is weak sauce in my area unortunately. But AA is pretty good, and CA rawks my sawks.

I LOL'd when my lawyer read the police report to me while I was behind bars on Thursday... all it said was

"he was asleep behind the wheel with a needle hanging out of his arm"..

I said to my lawyer... THATS BULLSHIT... I wasn't sleeping
