The best footballers come from South America for many reasons, the most important one being their kids growing up with the ball and playing street football all their childhood through.
You also have to have an inborn gift for football, not everyone can become a Pele a Maradonna or a Kaka regardless of all the best training in the world.
You better have a gift for football and start playing with 2 or you'll never become a superstar, roids wont help you any further.

Australia is a multicultural land, that diverse gene pool has had an effect in our sporting teams. Different ethnic styles help sports to evolve.
The gayest thing about NFL is that those players are much more specialised athletes, not less. They do their thing then walk off; sit down, fluids, rub, whatever. That is not sport. Go watch a Australian Rules match and see what those bastards do for an hour, once you get a feel for how far, and fast they have been running it's very impressive. It is also very high contact....and none of that fucking $billion dollar padding/protection industry you got.

Only Hockey comes to mind as a sport that Australians play much of, and we're the current gold medal holders in that sport.
