I just traded an old GoPed of mine for a MTB. I went biking in moab a couple weeks ago with some friends while camping and it made me want a mountain bike again. It's a Jeep made bicycle.
We'll see how much it can take.Best of all, I'm going to try to get up early everyday for a bike ride this summer. I mean going on a bike ride everyday isn't anything new, but getting up early sure as fuck is. The earliest I wake up is one day a week at 10am and all other days are like 11. So it's going to be fun, but I love colorado in the morning, specially in the mountains so at least I have some good motivation. |

this is my summer training plan
Sunday - Rest Monday - 1-2 hour easy ride Tuesday - Intervals Wednesday - 2-3 hour ride Thursday - 3-4 hard ride Friday - 1-2 easy ride Saturday - Rest I'll do this for 2 or 3 weeks then have a light week with 3 or 4 days of rest and the rest of the days be easy rides. Since collegiate road season ended I haven't really touched my bike much so hopefully with a month or so with this training plan I'll get out to some public races in the area. Though this training is really to keep me in shape/increase my performance for cyclocross season. mmmm... I can't wait. |

Set up some goals for yourself. Based on those goals write out a little training plan that works with your schedule and put it on your calender. I personal like to put my training into a spreadsheet to keep track of when, where, and how long I went for. This helps keeps me motivated to stay on track |

I don't know about all of that you said being true Mango. If you don't want to ride one day, don't make yourself do it. It's not something you should do if you don't want to.
Your body has to be ready for being on a bike everyday too, that's the hardest part for some people. I ride on average 15-20 miles a day every week, or else a short hard climb, it just totally depends on what I'm feeling like that day as to which way I go. |

Physically I have no problems getting on the bike. I just don't care to very much. There's no pain or anything. I'm just reverting to my old, lazy ways.
