rondo was playing ridicurous in the playoffs.. i think he's one of the most underrated player in the game. he always fills up the stat sheet and with his crazy wing span and leap he's one of if not the best rebounding point guards and maybe even guards period. very solid defensively, great at finding his team mates and setting them up, and his shot is coming. he could be downright scary within the next 1-3yrs..
impressive win for orlando @ cleveland in game one. wasn't cleveland like 43-2 at home [i'm including playoffs] this season up until that game? it looked almost like all of lebron's teammates were just watching him play on the offensive end.

Lakers win, yay
and that was some crappy ref jobs. there were some calls that should have been made, but denver was playing really dirty and getting away with it 75% of the time

LOL WHAT?
that's all bullshit. Melo couldn't even touch a Laker without getting called for a foul in the 3rd. Rest of the team too, hence the reason they were in such bad foul trouble at the end. Last edited by notepad; 05-24-2009 at 10:54 AM. |

what about the push in the back that should have been caled unnecessary?
or the push to kobes stomach while shooting a three that was ignored? or when they called the foul on the laker when it should have been a double foul because they were both pushing and fighting like girls?

the two handed push from the back was flagrant and unnecessary.
the kobe 3-point push was kobe trying to sell nothing. not even close to a foul. should've been a double technical. that was just dumb all around. regardless, the nuggets are gonna tie it up tomorrow. |

there needs to be a massive NBA ref overhaul
even charles barkley knows the reffing is bad, its been inconsistent, and it looks like the refs don't want the 'superstars' kobe and lbj to prevail and its sad

magic - cavs game was ruined
howard should have been in the locker room a long time before the fourth quarter with two swinging elbows after the play and neither of them were called. i can't even call it a good game, it was just ruined by the shitty ref'ing job.

Hahaha. If there is ANY agenda for the refs and stern it is FOR the 'superstars' kobe and lbj prevail. Lakers vs. Cav's NBA Finals is what the nba, david stern, and the refs want for optimal ratings. You think the NBA wants Denver and Orlando in the finals? That would produce shit ratings. Los Angeles and the super-hyped LeBron James led Cavs are the teams the nba wants, anything else will be done in spite of the refs. |

it doesn't matter what agenda you think the NBA may have, doesn't mean the ref's are along the same lines.
the refs have been fucking up period, if they were doing the job they should be howard would have been out of the game, and im sure more would be different. i watched the cavs-magic game with an open mind because i don't care who won, all i care about is the lakers. the refs killed this game, i didn't see the first two in the series, so i cannot comment on them. i did see multiple technicals by howard that were completely ignored and i did see the cavs get a lot more calls than the magic did (in ratio of how many there should have been)
