Cross-country touring
Any one ever done this? Or done any touring at all?
I'm planning a cross country tour for this summer or the next, looking for tips, tricks, and stories from anyone with any experience. |

I work with a chick that biked from New Brunswick to Calgary with her boyfriend.
The one thing she mentioned is you don't ever realise how hungry your gonna get. If you'll be biking 18+ hours a day you'll be burning so many calories and if your biking cross-country I assume your taking the highway so the quickest convenient food is fast good and dude you can down like 6 of those double burgers off the dollar menu easy. Make sure you bring a tarp too in case it rains when you are fucked and you gotta wrap yourself up (better if your with somebody, body-warmth close together typo thing) for the human burrito.
