it's on tonight snowmayne

the spurs have been hit or miss it seems. they've won all 3 games i was able to watch and lost the other 3, so my take could be a bit off. we played well against the raptors but were ultimately struggling without the presence of tim duncan and tony parker. no team can give up 120+ points and expect to win games, no matter how much they can score because buckets won't always fall like that (i think manu had something like 5 3 balls to himself). but luckily it's only a temp situation. hopefully we can stand up against the mighty mavs in the meantime. should be a good match

hell of a game! it's been a while since i've seen the spurs clamp down like that defensively, and i'm glad they did after giving up 126 to the raptors. i think the spurs did a good job showcasing what they are capable of this season. they really put the heat on kidd and made it difficult for him to create plays. nowitzky really let the superstar in him come out after a quiet first half though, making a series of difficult shots, even a one-handed fade-away leaning back on one foot. we did a good job harassing him and he proved that he's simply too good to be stopped completely, but it turned out to be too little too late. and all without duncan or parker! i'll be looking forward to next week's game in dallas

oh, and if you thought i'd forget. . . richard jefferson is a fucking beast!! he can drive like no one i've ever seen in a spurs uniform. granted he was forced to be a bit more aggressive last night lacking tony parker, but i'm really glad he proved to himself and his team that he can step up and perform when needed. and matt bonner too. . . after that dry spell in the last quarter, i knew he'd be just the man to reignite some excitement and get us scoring again. so what happens as soon as he comes in and gets the ball? 3 bomb goes swish!

let the MVP discussion commence!!

I think this year Lebron steps it up. They are working Shaq into the games and lebron is on a good pace already this year. He'll have strong competition tho in Kobe (as always), Nash (run and gun, SSoL offense is back!), D-Wade (unbelievable team player who has tons of energy) and i think this year you'll see Chris Bosh make an apperance in the top 5 category with Hedo in the mix I think Bosh will mature more and has a veteran player to work it out with.

Paul Pierce gets mention cause they just win mad games and he's the man. 'Melo is also coming into this season looking for respect. He's carrying that nuggets team.

This season has had so many amazing games going on it's almost been a struggle to keep up with all of them. That means that LEAGUE PASS is really the only way to stay on top of everything. Streaming games online from whereever? Amazing...

i was reading up on his wiki and after training at gymnasium for a while his coach told him they could start training only 3 days a week and he could stay in germany to be a superstar there, or he could train every day and become a superstar for the world. we know what he decided, and his coach focused primarily on dribbling and jump shot exercises. it really shows don't it, the dude can hit anything from fuckin anywhere

the spurs made a lot of stupid mistakes is what it came down to. i thought that with parker still out jefferson would shine like he did last week, but they just weren't moving the ball like the team i know and love. i was honestly surprised when they forced overtime. duncan looked like a damn jackass missing all those shots in the final seconds. all in all a bad show for the spurs. it wasn't that much better for the mavericks excepting dirk, but a win is a win. the spurs have a long road ahead of them getting this new team to work together.

refs still betting on games, kinda obvious if you watch games like I do.

I wish the nba would have just kept the refs locked out this season, what a bummer.

that was one of the worst slam dunk contests i can remember.. one of my favourite players in the league, gerald wallace, looked like he wasn't even trying and just wanted to watch the final round from right on the court...
