Siphoning gas from cars.

My dad is saying there's anti siphoning things in even a 93 aerostar. He's about to sell it to the junk yard for 150. But before doing so I'd like to take sone fuel out. It's just too bad I don't have an empty tank.

Have u siphoned before? I'm just going to buy a thing at walmart.

that said, youll probably be able to better appreciate the flavor of gasoline after you attempt this.

Modern cars have a thingy between the cap and the tank to stop you siphoning like that.

Probably yes. It shouldn't be too hard to drain the tank from somewhere else if you follow the fuel line.

The anti-siphon is a ball at the bottom of the fuel filler pipe with narrow slots around the perimeter. The fuel filter is usually on the frame rail, the fuel pump is in the tank, disconnect the fuel filter and turn on the key putting the free end of the hose into a suitable receptacle.

Want to save the hassle? Grab a bucket and drill a hole in the bottom of tank, be quick and don't be a pussy and you won't blow up.
