NBA Playoffs underway

I'm watching my Trailblazers get blown the fuck away by the Suns. It's hard to watch but I have other dogs in this fight. I want to see Orlando take the East but the Cavs will probably do it. Of course I want the west to win, I always do. If it has to be the Lakers then it will be. Utah is my next favorite. Then the Nuggets.

By the way I just realized that Denver has given a whole new meaning to the team name "NUGGETS". That must be obvious now.

if the spurs don't care care of the mavs it'll be phoenix all the way. maybe even if they do

the east is some sucky shit this year imo. good teams in the east should all have amazing records, playing the majority of their games against sub-par teams. but they don't. no team in the east has a chance at winning a seven game series against utah, la, sa, dallas OR phoenix.

the mavs are in town tonight. gonna be good

^Phoenix you guys? They're a strong team but i won't put them past the second round as it's too likely Dallas will take them. although come to think about it Phoenix and Dallas is a damn equal match up.

i'll put Denver vs LA in the western semi's.

See you all at Staples...

I don't know if my boys'll go all the way but they'll be there at the end.

Again.

yeah that was a good game but did you see Paul Pierce hit that game winner over the Heat? Basketball doesn't get much better than that.

it surprises me man, at least the way it's going down. i would've never expected either team to win 3 straight games.

i wish the refs weren't clamping down so severely and just let the players play. i haven't been keeping up with the other matchups, is that shit happening across the board? p ridiculous if you ask me.

i hate to say it but dirk, while averaging 30+ points a game, just isn't hitting them when he needs to. i'm not used to that, it's kind of scary. every time i see him take a shot i automatically expect it to fall. i've never seen him go through so many dry spells.

i'm glad everyone finally got to see what a great player george hill is. ever since tony parker broke his hand late in the season he really stepped it up as a starter and came into his own. tell your mavs to watch the corner

it'll be one intense game tomorrow. prob go on until midnight with all the fouls bound to be called

i didn't want to say anything until they actually finished, because they've had trouble finishing shit the past year and a half for some reason.... but HOLY FUCKING SHIT ORLANDO.

dwight fucking LOCKED down the paint.. someone-- verk--> find the stats on how many points in the paint atlanta had when dwight was in the game. atlanta couldn't even get the ball in the paint.

... imagine this series if atlanta had d wade, who can get anywhere he wants on the floor in the half-court in like 2 dribbles.. i've loved joe johnson since he was a rookie for phoenix, but he can't break a d down like wad or bron-bron.. jamal crawford is the guy on that team that can really slash, but he played most of the playoffs hesitant and wasn't playing like he had been all year.

Whoa, huge upset for the Caveliers. Totally shut down by Boston.

Orlando v. Boston is going to be a spectacular matchup.

I'm really hoping to see Howard and Carter light it up all the way to the finals.

Man... I know what you're saying but I dont know if that's fair. The fans always set such huge expectations of Vince Carter, it's not unreasonable to say that he is only human.

Okay, so hes "Half man, half amazing", but psychologically that is a lot to live up to. The guy is not comfortable in the spotlight, he just isn't.

So all in all: yes, he was disappointing. And Howard just wasn't mature enough to carry the team.

Fuuuuck!

Dude, the Suns are good. They remind me of a college team; excellent pace. They move the ball and they attack with force.

But you know what? it might as well be the fucking lakers and celtics again. why not? they've made it to the finals faaar more than any other two teams. So... it's just east vs west now and as much as I hate the lakers dominance, I gotta stand for the west!!!

BOSTON MUST DIEEEEEEE
