NFL '10-'11
The draft began today... who's your team and how do you feel about their picks?
I'm a Bills fan and though it was a surprise for sure, Spiller's a real good pick. Still hoping for Clausen tomorrow.

I'm stoked about the seahawks picks
Russell Okung and Earl Thomas are solid players that will be good for years... at Prisco's hatred of Tim Tebow...

I'm thinking if we don't pick up Clausen or McCoy, we're gonna trade Lynch and a draft pick for Big Ben; there's plenty of women for him to sexually assault here

my bears don't pick until the 3rd
![]() definitely a crazy first day. new england domining the draft again as usual. how perfect a fit is bulaga falling to the pack? i'd almost be happy not going to some shit team picking in the top of the draft, and go to a really good team with a good foundation.. plus he addresses a need for them. one of the other big surprises for me was oakland not going totally off the deep-end with their pick. i was also pretty surprised when the giants didn't take sean weatherspoon.

if you actually look at what denver is doing:
they got a receiver coming from a spread-option offense, and a qb from the same.. josh mcdaniels offense is very spread-based, and the receivers in it don't neccessarily half to run a full route-tree; they just have to be able to get to a spot and get open. so it fits what he's trying to do, and he gets the best winner of any of the qb's in the draft.

I like what denver is doing, they will be a fun team to watch as they embrace the new system...
I think that the green bay pick was a perfect match, as well...No other player drafted in the first fits the personality of a franchise like bulaga does... I was reading this article about lynch going to New England, which although would make a ton of people mad, makes a hell of alot of sense...They can clean the mess that is their backfield, they also have a raft of pics to play with...

but what would buffalo get for him?
plus, if you get rid of marshawn, you have two similar backs left in spiller and jackson. i'd think jackson would have more trade value anyway, considering marshawn's off-field issues in the past and production last year. it'll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow after everyone's had a whole day to look back and reset their boards. new england and baltimore quietly stock-piled a lot of picks for tomorrow and could move up to get some player[s] they really like, or stay put and do the same in more quantity.

It makes sense with all of the players being shipped for that very reason this off season, and New England has a past of doing just that, like with Moss, Dillon, etc...Buffalo could get picks, which could be used on a bigger rb to compliment spiller and jackson...Although if his production isn't high right away spiller could be shifted towards return duty until the line catches up with his talents...

if i were a Jags fan, i would be so pissed right now.....
i mean, i played the 3-technique on passing downs the last couple years i played, so it's not like i can't appreciate the importance of d-tackels.. but 3 picks, 3 DTs in what may be an even deeper draft than the '83 draft??? what is that? when i saw the first pick of alualu, i was surprised but then came to the conclusion that del rio was trying to improve their rush from the inside out.. but still, you'd think they'd want an explosive edge guy to pair with these interior rushers.

Titans got some O-lineman and a WR from USC I feel like I should know. Funny because I was saying the same thing to my friend next to me, their D-line isn't as good as it was two years ago since they lost Van den Bosch and Haynesworth. Could also use a tight end now that Crumpler's gone but Britt's looking like he can manage the job, the Giants are gonna regret not grabbing Weatherspoon too.
