The 49ers will do the same thing they did with Braylon Edwards last year..."If you are productive hang out, if you aren't ride the bench until we need the roster spot and cut you"...

Longest he hangs out in San Fran is this year...After that, I don't see many suitors for a 35+ old vertical threat that can't get vertical...

But i do like him as a number two with crabtree on the other side, manningham in the slot, davis playing wide or inside, and gore in the backfield...

the 49ers are the biggest threat to the Packers this year hands down

Really good running backs take away from the passing game. I'd rather have someone just adequate so he doesn't start demanding more carries. Having an O-line that can pass block is the main thing with todays rules favoring the passing game so much. You never hear of running backs being judged on how many rings they have.

I don't know about that. I just don't think Alex Smith is that good and I believe any defense can be had. And although I am a die hard Packer fan, they aren't the defending champs so I think the Giants should be the team to beat. Fuck it was hard to say that and actually believe it.

Smith had what we refer to as the "Cassel" season, he played outside of himself and make very few mistakes because he was being coached by someone who finally got what he was good at and what he wasn't...

The thing is, with the same staff and a more improve WR corps, can he replicate that..? I do not know but I do know that if he doesn't and the 49ers bottom out, they have Barkley waiting in their back yard...

So things look on the up and up either way...Either they play up the the level they showed capable of last year, or they cave to a harder schedule and heightened expectations and land a QB for the future..

Barkley from USC? They'd have to plummet pretty far to get a shot at him, I'd think.

You are completely right, I was going to throw Landry Jones from Oklahoma in there but who knows if people will be as high on him/he will show enough this season to be thought of as highly as he was this year...

The thing i am most stoked about though is, the draft starts f'in tomorrow...

Get the DVR nigga. I used to work at DTV and they're pretty all-inclusive, adding a DVR rental shouldn't break the bank and as long as you can make your co-workers keep mum on game results you'll be golden.

Anyways per thread: RG3; think he's going to the skins or could there be an upset?!

I ask because I know that soon the Redskins and Seahawks fans will come flowing into Idaho.

The redskins would have him signed already if possible...

To avoid cherry picking the only person who can be signed/told they are being drafted 100% is the first pick...

It is a pretty solid bet(99%) that RG3 will be a redskin...

You know the skins play in DC tho right? Cause from my experience there aren't many redskins fans out here..

Good call, maybe I just see all types of football fans working on a golf course Just more Redskin jerseys than back home I guess, plus my buddy here is a diehard fan and won't shut up about RG3.

Idaho, like Montana is a quandary state in that they have no pro team so play according to the states around them, Montana played Broncos and Seahawks. I know Idaho is gonna play seahwaks and have been told they play Redskins games but I have no fucking idea.

Would they play Broncos games in Idaho? I need to figure this out so I know whether or not I have to get lame cable which I'll only use for sports, or just buy a digital antennae.

This is the site I use to see what games will be on...

the506.com - NFL map index 2011

Right now there are no map links but they update weekly with overlays on google maps of what is being broadcast in specific areas, during the season..

They really have made the draft into a joke. Prime time boredom. You can only say the same fucking thing so many times. I'll check the web site in the morning.

i know man, shits weak.

i got the DVR but it was a cruel joke my employees played every week on who would tell me scores, etc. I think there will be like maybe 8 games I will see this year? I'm going to try to find some websites to watch it on. If not, 101.5 WIBA FM will be good enough
