Am I the only one who likes to get high before a workout?

I really love it. I end up feeling the lifts more and I'm more focused.

Anyone else ?

usually the only way i would get motivated to work out was getting high. putting on the headphones and listening to some tunes while working out is amazing

but I do show—thanks to a lot of in-depth interviews with GOP sources—how they plotted to obstruct Obama before he even took office. I show how the stimulus was chock full of stuff they claimed to support until Jan. 20, 2009—not just things like health IT and the smart grid and energy efficiency and scientific research, but the very idea of Keynesian stimulus. Every presidential candidate in 2008 proposed a stimulus package, and Mitt Romney’s was the largest.

I toke a couple tokes before jogging to get that head change feeling. Too much and I might as well not even attempt it. Pop in the earbuds and I'm floating down the sidewalk.

Truly it's the best pre-workout supplement

Can't say I ever did it before exercise.

BUT...

I have done loads of physical labour in the greenhouse/gardener/landscaping front and for that it it gets me focused for sure.

Can really go at it steady, finding a groove easier, setting a pace...
Feels like more of a 'mission' and I really go at it

Yes. I generally feel like shit after working out. It's the other 90% of my life after working out that I feel good. But for like an hour after working out I just feel terrible. Probably because I push myself so hard, but no I don't like being under the influence of anything while feeling like shit.

I never got the chance to do that. I knew it would help with my psychological fear. It would have made all the difference. 99% of what barred me from climbing harder routes was the fear.

And I was always top roping.

my girlfriend has serious problems with the fear when she is top-roping. she has improved a lot over the last year bouldering, but she is worse than a total beginner on the ropes. i dont get it myself, but i have been climbing for over 16 years so i guess i cant really relate.

I run a lot... and if i smoke even a little bit I can feel it come the 5-6th mile. If I am going to lift, I will sometimes smoke a little bit. But some times i get paranoid when I am lifting that I am going to shit myself if i push it to hard lol I know its retarded but I have been get stoned very easily lately.

i used to do it when i smoked, it's pretty good you would think it's counter productive, most of the time I would be less high at the end of the workout though as I think it sobers you up.
