The Big Dance

UConn or UK? Who's gonna win it all?

I'm going with Kentucky because they are the only "basketball school" that I kinda like. Go Wildcats!!

What's that about a big dance....

I don't watch college basketball but I'll say Kentucky since your rooting for them.

edit- Jester even if you don't like college hoops, you should watch the championship. Should be a great game.

Jester4yall 04-07-2014 01:19 PM

I'll probably watch it just for the conversations at work.

kitch 04-07-2014 01:27 PM

Obviously new England beats the south. Source:1865.

Man in Black 04-07-2014 01:43 PM

You just had to go there didn't you, Kitch? Too bad Kentucky wasn't even part of the confederacy.

So. Yeah.

stoneric 04-07-2014 01:58 PM

I like basketball as much as I like soccer. I'll be watching repeats of Gilligans Isle.

Man in Black 04-07-2014 02:20 PM

waaaaaaat basketball is infinitely more exciting than soccer. y'all are lame.

Jakeisuseless 04-07-2014 02:26 PM

I don't watch dancing.

UCONN- the freshmen known as KY will choke

mothernature 04-07-2014 03:48 PM

I'm more a UofLouisville fan, but how could I not be for Kentucky? GO BIG BLUE!

I used to live in Henderson when I was younger... just wanted to share that, mostly with MN

Man in Black 04-07-2014 04:13 PM

Kentucky is favored by 2.5 points, usually I like to go with the under dog in these situations but I kinda do like Kentucky..used to have a Kentucky baseball jersey and everything. Plus the border is only like 50 miles from where I live.

Mother Nature, friend of mine lives right next to U of Louisville campus and roots for them but is a diehard UK fan. Lucky girl gets to root on two really good Basketball programs.

Be expecting riots, win or lose. In Kentucky at least. The yuppies in Connecticut don't want to ruffle their thousand dollar suits.

Somewhere along the line it just got old to me. Every game seems the same. Plus it ain't football.

Don't you hate each other? I'd think it would be like Michigan/michigan state here, complete disdain for one another.

Sir-Ex 04-07-2014 05:54 PM

I think Kentucky will win because Kentucky is bigger.

Man in Black 04-07-2014 10:31 PM

yeah Kentucky's youth and inexperience got the best of them. Good game by Uconn. Wish it had been better though, kept it close for the most part but UK couldn't even take the lead one single time.

Back in the ancient days, they would never play each other just for that reason. Now they call them 'Dream Game xx' (insert current number). Most people now think like me. We got our first team, then the second, but if they play each other, it's on!!! The UK fans are more redneck. I'm sure they would argue with me.

Kentucky is a basketball state through and through. It helps with the rivalry that UL now has UKs old head coach. Rick Patino.

I live pretty close to campus as well! Small world!
