Hybrid Technologies is set to unveil a $125,000 electric supercar on April 14th. The LiX-75 is basically a modified “Mullen GT”, fitted with solar panels and several lithium-ion batteries. It goes from 0 - 60 in just 3 seconds and has a top speed of 200mph. Availability has not yet been confirmed.
From the article: “It’s the environmentalist mid-life crisis vehicle,” says Richard Griffiths, head of business development at Hybrid. “It’s a sports car that performs like a Porsche Boxster, looks like a Ferrari, and has zero emissions” .................... .................... ........... or another choice might be.......... The 1005hp Barabus TKR is now the world’s fastest car — rocketing from 0-60 in just 1.67-seconds with a top speed of 270mph. Power comes from a 6.0 liter V8 twin-turbocharged with dual intercoolers. The car has a full carbon fibre body and chassis. Further details remain sparse, but the automaker says it will sell the car for £360,000, which should translate to around $500,000 Last edited by Roach; 03-22-2008 at 02:35 PM. |

We were actually parked outside a private tvr works garage yesterday, amongst this dude's tuscans, there was one i've never seen before, looked like a womans version of the sagaris (read: less aggressive) no hood slits, or glass spoiler, different tvr spec wheels, different lights too.
I have no idea what the hell it was, it's not on the TVR website, the car had late 2007 plates, so idk if its just not available to us mere mortals yet or what. I'll try and grab pixors if i see it again.

Why do you assume I need to learn to corner?
Considering how much people spend on BMW for a fast car.. and consider that punk ass college kid spent on a Honda. You get a better deal. Japanese cars are quick too, turn on a dime. Get rid off that ze german engineered cocky attitude. Please.
