When free will becomes free form
and we all travel so fluidly
liquid can be boxed into
cute packages for only so long

Becoming one without consequences
leads one down a delightful path
while walking w/ those who
share the secrets of the journey

A million thoughts lay awake restless
tired of running thru a mind pulled
in directions without axi's

Can we all just confront our truths
before the lies become so common
that hot air is the only travel we seek

Looking forward to reclaiming the past
makes the days travel so fast
making peace with the fact that its not the same
plain and uneventful is the fate of those displaced

Speculation kills the messenger
alarming as it is there are proper times
for every bombshell

Showing no interest yields interest
our prophets were all wrong
when they laid out the future determined

Determining how to spend the future
leaves us broke and penniless
looking towards the past

Can I even begin to say what i want to
without you turning to run

One foot forward
Two steps back

Falling for old faults
memories bystander

We all wish for the past to be
as great as the futures we plan

Everything comes easy while avoiding the truth
looking the other way as deception talks

Requiring anything else but what we've been
has become a question answered before asked

Common perception finds a way to make itself
the truth that is most fittingly false

Tossed away when boredom shows
entertainment is sense of perspective

And when you have no perspective of your own
boredom is a friend unwanted.

without scapegoats of our own
faults will tear us down
blaming, excusing yourself from
looking into the mirror

mirrors can be glorified if broken
seven yrs is a long time gone
look more at who you've become
than who you want to be
be all i want is to be
me is beyond the point excused

bruised egos and feelings left in limbo
speaking is easy when your seeking
weather or not you make an ass
out of yourself shan't be a concern
concerns melt away only to come back magnified

anti personal, borderline loner
loan point of view and the clouds may part
sunshine is the day given a chance,
may we be given a chance

to write a story while living it is hard enough
tougher still w/ no one to fact find and point prove
lies are only truths we didn't force,
courses run like oceans
everyone floats down the same stream, &
we're all drowning, drowning, drowning

Reflections warp
in mirrors
shattered

given up to time
as if missed by
today

memories felt
differently by those
involved

trust an issue
of pain
refracted

tomorrow comes
knowing that the landscape
deserted

a million little
pieces of the same story
altered

When the past come crashing back
bringing with it the warmth of feelings, felt

The future stands no chance of warming thoughts, on ice

Where in, with out time we lay motionless
asking for a breath of fresh air

Retuning to lost causes keeps us spiraling into
our own minds

It's all so fluid when mistakes have been made
reflexes snap back against motion trained

We have felt things that may be misconstrued, misinterpred
mistaken and missed

Can we count on our faults to save us from the current
pulling down to recapture flashes of glitter, glistening like gold

For we are all fools for someone else's survival

Can we adapt constructively so that movement onward is as it should be,
Fate Determined....

damn been way too long since a bump...

just knocked this one out...Don't know how i feel about it yet...



around the time that reflection is at its best
is around the time that i should be at rest

its been said that shimmers of the past
are the moments that we remember fast

could it be so easy to say what i want
or is it as hard as every thing that i cant

the doubts come rolling down like bolders
no lighter than stones on atlas shoulders


lofty decisions made in haste
just to say we got a taste

missing out is to turn a back
a back turned is always an attack

mutual destruction is the way we cope
always holding out for a new ray of hope

the sun shining through clouds greyed
in these rooms filled w/ debts already paid

struture is the foundation rotted
allowing us to figure for who plotted

an attempt for further understanding
clarity a balance for another landing
