I can never look you in the eye.
You can't seem to fathom why.
Perhaps your wasting your life,
or perhaps it's me telling a lie.

Whichever branch has the closest fruit,
is the limb to target.
A slave to your necessity,
for reward and simplicity.

You aren't entitled to anything,
especially not me,
maybe one day you'll see;
Eye to Eye;
Me,
I and I.


There's no reason to look out,
when you haven't looked with-in.
Open your mind and take yourself for a spin.
Your purity may overcome your ego's petty grin.
Or maybe you'll escape only to come back.
and wreak the same worn out havoc.
Yet again.
