Peace In The Wind

Oak speak to me.
I want to breath your wisdom.
Soft winds breeze;
Mind free from tantrum.

I ask,
"Trees, trees,
you have seen a lot of things.
What is that you love?"

The breeze exhales.

Taken away.

I whisper softly back
"I love you so much. So much.
Thank you, Thank you."

A symphony is playing,
wild with debris,
I look to the street-light,
a leaf grazes me.

Gaia is here,
meditating in the branches.
I ask her to kiss me,
And my wish is granted.

Everything,
Goes away.

Everything,
Goes away.

I was just talking to the trees across the street last night, and the wind kept giving me responses . I asked them for courage, in exchange for my word to do my best to try to improve the world around me.

It was beyond coincidental that when I looked to a man-made source of light to see some falling leaves in the road that one brushed me hard enough to feel. Especially considering the rest of my duration of being outside not one other leaf touched or was near me . I've been trying to listen to the signs of my waking life similar to the metaphors inside of a persons dreams. I interperate this as "don't look at the BS of modern life and technology, if you want to see/feel a leaf just stay right where you are and it will come to you." I'm sure some people will call me bonkers, but it's nothing I haven't heard before, and I know what I'm feeling is true .

It's kind of weird to think about the tree's roll in nature. They provide shelter(shade/homes/humidity/blocking harsh winds), boundaries, food, medicine, clean new air, they help soil, they are easily decomposed by fungi to provide even richer soil(and once again giving life). Tree's are in a way one of the most caring and important things in nature in my opinion. Wise guardians of life.

As far as tannic acid goes hehe, I'm not sure. I know you can buy it, they use it for wine-brewing. I'd imagine it's fairly expensive . I know its a pretty prodominate chemical in nettle leaves, but as far as extracting it yourself I'm not 100% sure on how to do it. If I stumble on anything that sounds feasible to do in a home. I'll let you know .
