My dog ate my pot brownies...

So about 10-15 yrs ago, my boyfriend at the time was growing lots, he gave me about an ounce of bud to grind up and put in brownies. I had been making cakes for years but never brownies. Anyway I make up the brownies and some friends and I ate about half the batch. I wrapped up the other half and put them on my dresser ( I was living with my mom and didn't want her to find them ). anyway we were having a good time until I heard a crach from my room. I ran in there only to see my dog eatting the left over brownies. I gave her shit, she seemed find and so I went about my high. The next day I was at work.... my little sister got home from school and found my dog passed out in the ditch in front of our house. She freaked out and called my mom, who rushed home from work and took the dog to the vet. The vet told my mom that it looked like the dog had drank or eattin anti-freeze... and that the dog was in a coma and probably would wake up. My mom left the dog there for the vet to observe for a few days. She came home and told me about my dog.... I knew it wasn't anti-freeze she ate, but I keep my mouth shut... I felt so bad that I had probably killed my dog... the guilt was eating me up I almost told my mom a few times thinking if she told the vet it might help.... three days went by and I finally decided to tell my momn when she got home from work... well that same day the vet called my mom and told her to come getthe dog.... she had woken up from her coma and was fine.... So my mom picked her up and my dog survived... I finally told my mom the truth about what the dog ate just last year....lol
I have to say to that after my dog had it's trip it could sniff out pot... after a party once she was digging at my couch. I stuck my hand in and pulled out a half quarter, as well if you had it in your pocket she would sniff you like crazy.... I always knew who had pot at my house...lol

Some dogs really enjoy weed but that was probably pretty scary. Good thing it came out alright haha.

That's pretty crazy. I know xylitol is also quite bad for pets

funny i found this cause i made a batch last night and ate sum and left the pan on my couch. my roommate came home and let the dog out of the kennel and then found him eating the brownies. he didnt eat much but it was enough because he was so high he would just sit on the couch next to us and sway back and forth, lol. his eyes were red and he could barley hold them open. it was funny to see him like that cause he's a pit bull puppy and he is normally hyper....it was nice for a change.

I knew a cat that sniffed out an oz. in my friend's nightstand, opened the drawer & ate it.
Anything can happen.
