Through the trees

The leaves whisper cryptic messages
to the wind as it passes by.
No matter how hard I meditate
and try to decipher the words
they still mystify me.
Maybe this is why the forest petrifies so many,
it contains things we’ll never know.

Not to tell you the expression is wrong, I wish to share some thoughts.

Trying hard to meditate sometimes means opening up or letting go instead of focus.

This is scary too, it's letting go into the unknown, thinking without thoughts, listening, rather, waiting for things to show up in the periphery of your 'eyes'. And personally, this is why I'm not petrified (nice wood pun) when I walk into nature. Everything in it's time, as it should be, working striving for balance.

I really like the (air) flow of what you wrote.

I know what you mean...I sat in a canoe once and listened to the wind, and the trees..

It's like tree language, we know what it means but we can't understand.

but we all now it means something good.

There are many great lessons and metaphor that play out in nature if we just watch long enough, we aren't really that different at all...

Cause I hear people talking sometimes and then the trees start to make a lot more sense

i HAVE TO TELL you the story.

I was at the cottage and out on the lake in my canoe. It was a beautifl sunny day. I smoed a joint and because the lake is surrounded by forest...mountainous forest I watched the trees from way far away...swaying lightly and lol I hear them now... out my door but I listened and the entire time I wanted to write about it. Trees so many different kinds yet they all speak the same language...and they all make you wish that you were in a "cradle" tht fell hahaha maybe not but i know i would love to sleep in a cradle in a tree.
